Dear Conservatives,

What does United States citizenship mean to you?

As a fellow American, I bet you regard it as one of your most treasured assets.

Yes, birthright citizenship has been grossly misinterpreted for years.  But it is now actually being reported by the mainstream media.  Now is our chance to set things right.



  • Pregnant Chinese women are flocking to the United States to give birth to -- U.S. citizens! According to CNN Money, about 10,000 Chinese women gave birth in the U.S. in 2012, over twice the number of 4,200 in 2008.
  • And from this week's Los Angeles Times: "Maternity Tourism Raids Target California Operations Catering to Chinese" - there is even a hashtag for it...#maternitytourism
And those numbers are solely from China!  And for lucrative birth tourism agencies, business is booming from all corners of the globe.  Women pay hefty fees for a “maternity hotel” complete with meals and doctors, and of course, detailed information on how to apply for a visa and obtain a passport for the newly born U.S. citizen.

If that is just too much trouble:

  • Have your child on the U.S. territory of the Northern Mariana Islands, with its own visa program waiver for Chinese tourists
  • Or better yet, hire a surrogate mother to carry your child and give birth!
The real purpose of the 14th Amendment is to ensure that former slaves and their children were U.S. citizens: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States..." No court has ever held that children born to tourists or illegal aliens are citizens.

The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2015 (HR 140 and S 45) would restore the 14th Amendment to its original intent and clarify that citizenship at birth is granted only if one of the parents is a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident alien, or alien actively serving in the military. These bills would end the incentives for birth tourists and illegal aliens to enter the U.S. for the sole purpose of giving birth.

While previous efforts at this legislation have failed, the media is helping out this time by shining a light on this total sell-out of American citizenship. 

Let's make Congress take notice.
