RID CONGRESS (SENATE) OF RINOS - KANSAS MUST ELECT GREG ORMAN

Fellow Conservatives:

According to a new poll, U.S. Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS) is now trailing businessman Greg Orman (I-KS) 36 percent to 37 percent in a Republican state that President Obama lost by 22 points.

Pat Roberts is a weak candidate because he's been in Washington for 47 years and has voted for higher taxes, more debt, and to put Kathleen Sebelieus in charge of Obamacare. And, of course, he doesn't live in Kansas anymore.

Despite these problems, the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) blindly supported Roberts in the Republican primary -- a decision that could end up costing the party the majority. If Roberts had retired and another Republican had won the nomination, the seat would not be at risk today.

We're bringing this to your attention because it has major ramifications for the conservative candidates we're supporting for the U.S. Senate.

Since the NRSC cares more about re-electing moderate incumbents than they do about electing new conservatives, they will now encourage their allies to divert resources away from other races to help save Roberts in Kansas.

According to a new report published by POLITICO, party leaders are working overtime to rescue their man in Kansas.

"With polls showing Sen. Pat Roberts in serious trouble against independent Greg Orman, top Senate Republicans, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, are leaning on big-ticket donors to fill the long-time Kansas senator's campaign coffers."

Because of the NRSC's failure to vet Pat Roberts, and because of the establishment's preference for incumbents, we must work even harder to support the conservative candidates running for the Senate.

Given a choice between supporting a moderate incumbent who is running behind in the polls and a competitive, conservative challenger, the establishment will choose the incumbent because he is less likely to rock the boat after he's elected.

This is completely backwards. If any candidates should suffer, it should be the career politicians who are giving the Republican Party a bad name.

We can't let conservatives get pushed to the side.

Please make a contribution to Rob Maness (R-LA), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Tom Cotton (R-AR), and Ben Sasse (R-NE) today.

SCF 2014 Senate Candidates

As you know, SCF pays all processing fees so 100% of your candidate donations go directly to their campaigns.

If we don't step up to help these candidates, they could lose. And if they lose, Harry Reid will continue to control the Senate next year.

The establishment is going to spend a mountain of cash trying to clean up their mess in Kansas -- money that could be spent electing new leaders.

So it's up to us -- the grassroots -- to fight for conservatives.

Please answer the call today.

Thank you for your standing strong for freedom!

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II
