I LOVE CONSERVATIVES!
Citizen Outreach launched a new project this month in which
we’ll be e-interviewing various conservatives of various stripes to see what
makes ‘em tick. My hope is to eventually
expand this project into a weekly podcast. In the meantime, check out our first “I Love
Conservatives” e-interview with the Father of the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, Grover Norquist.
I love his answer to “What irritates you most about liberals?”

DRIVE-BY MUTHINGS
>>>>> I still find it insane that Democrats
are allowed to vote in Republican Party primary elections in Mississippi. That’s like letting me vote for the head of
the Culinary Union!
>>>>> If UNLV keeps moving its
proposed location for a new football stadium much further west, pretty soon it
will be right back where it is right now at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl.
Speaking of the stadium, proponents want to raise taxes to
pay for it. No way, Jose.
THE BILBRAY FILES
>>>>> In response to the
Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby ruling that family businesses cannot be forced by
ObamaCare to provide birth control coverage to its employees, as it offends
their religious beliefs, Democrat congressional candidate Erin Bilbray-Kohn tweeted…
“#HobbyLobby decision is appalling. We can no longer afford leaders that don't advocate for women and girls.”
Interesting. Because
the Hobby Lobby decision was based on a bill passed by a Democrat-controlled
Congress in 1993 and signed by Democrat president. I guess Ms. Bilbray-Kohn is saying we can’t
afford leaders such as Sen. Harry Reid.
Hmm. Maybe she has a
point after all.
>>>>> In a recent interview
published in The Hill, Democrat congressional candidate Erin Bilbray-Kohn was quoted as saying the following about illegal
immigrants getting deported…
“I see this every day, what real families are going through. ... I’m out there with these families, and I see that this is not a Latino issue or an Asian-Pacific Islander issue, this is an issue that’s affecting all of us.”
Um, no it’s not.
It’s an issue affecting the families of individuals who
broke the law and illegally entered the United States, or were legally allowed
a visa to visit for a short while and unlawfully never went home. It’s an issue affecting the families of
law-breakers who apparently were never taught in their home countries that
actions have consequences.
Speaking of which…
>>>>> On July 1, Democrat
congressional candidate Erin
Bilbray-Kohn tweeted…
“My daughter wants to know what is going to happen to her best friend/honor student if her mom is deported.”
Well, um, the same thing that would happen if her mom broke
some other law and was sent to jail for it.
Someone else will have to take care of the child who is being made to
suffer for the actions of her parent.
Some may say that’s not fair, but the stock response to
that, of course, is…life’s not fair.
In reality, however, it’s not quite that bad. If her mother is deported and returned to the
home country from which she entered the U.S. illegally, her daughter can go
with her so that the family isn’t broken up. But that’s a tough decision the
family will have to make because, well, actions have consequences.
That
said, there's a good chance this youngster's mom would be able to stay
in the U.S. legally if the Democrats would stop insisting on full-blown
citizenship. If the mom is deported, it'll be Sen. Harry Reid's fault.
>>>>> Hillary Clinton is coming
to UNLV this fall to regurgitate a litany of liberal talking points as she
continues ramping up her 2016 presidential campaign. She’ll be paid an elephant-choking $225,000
to…talk. And that money will be added to
the Clinton family fortune currently estimated to be in excess of $100 million.
Or as Hillary puts it, not “truly well off.”
If Hillary’s truly not well off, then I guess that means
Democrat congressional candidate Erin
Bilbray-Kohn - whose reported family income last year was comparatively a
paltry $275,383 (top 4% nationally)
– ought to be getting food stamps and government cheese!

FAMOUS LAST WORDS
“It took until 5:15 p.m. on the actual July 4th for the
first illegal firecrackers to go off near my house? You're slipping, Henderson
youth.” – Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Steve Sebelius
