Jesus IS Coming

WAKE UP

For the most part of my life I have listened to sermons and had discussions with other Christians about the return of Jesus being imminent.

"Jesus Christ will come like a thief in the night when you least expect Him. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye, with the sound of a trumpet and you must be ready at all times."

Those are words I have heard and recall as if I heard them moments ago.

According to many Christians I talk with locally, "I hear that less as it is not in the sermons I now hear."

The results of the lack of sermons warning of the return of our Lord is all too many Christians live life with a lowered expectancy thereby living as if He may, or may not, come in their lifetimes.

People, allow me to say this, "Always be prepared . Live your lives in a constant state of readiness for His return."

God's Word addresses purposeful denials of His return.

2 Peter 3:3-4   First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."

What is being said is, "Why fear anything about the end? There will be no Judgment Day."

Those are the words of Satan!

If you will recall the terrorist attack of 09/11/2001, in the days thereafter, for a while, people flocked to churches and sought solace. They were scared, in need of prayer, and fearful of impending events. But, you may be surprised to learn that withing 6 months of that fateful day fewer people attended churches throughout America than before those terrible attacks. This continues to be reality even this very day.

Just as Peter wrote, "The scoffers arrived."

Satan has whispered his lies into the ears of men and women and they are believing those lies! "Christ has delayed His coming...stand down...No need to fear..."

Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, spoke His Words of warning:

In His Word Jesus identifies those who believe in Him as 'servants.'

One servant is faithful and the other evil. The good servant is rewarded, but the evil is hardly rewarded. He is chastened.

What, you may ask, makes the second servant evil in the Lord's eyes? Well, according to Jesus it is something, "he shall say in his heart," that the Lord delays His coming.In other words, the evil servant is convinced that Jesus will not return suddenly or unexpectedly and that there is no reason to, "watch," or to, "be ready." Rather than believe in the words of Jesus  he has eased his conscience by believing Satan's lie.

The results of that failure are many.  The evil servant sees no harm in smiting his fellow servants, no reason to preserve unity in his own home, speaking slander of his fellow servants, drink to excess and generally live by his own way of thinking...not God's.

I caution you...do not fall to the naysayers...Prepare yourselves.

Paul was constantly crying, "Wake up...It is past midnight...Jesus is coming...cast off the works of darkness...put on the armor of light..."Romans 13:11-12 "The Lord is at hand." Philippians 4:5

The heart of my message is:

In Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

The "bride" of Christ consists of the worldwide body of believers who are under the Lordship of Jesus. These are born-again, blood cleansed believers. I am among those believers and know that there are many among you! If you are unsure, filled with doubt, and fearful...then you are in need of counseling. Seek out a Christian and listen to the Word he/she can teach you. It is your eternal life you are risking and that is the greatest loss you could ever imagine!

When you read the Words, "Come, Lord Jesus," know that the Holy Spirit knows that His work is near completion and He is urging Jesus to "hasten His coming."

As the hour of His return nears I urge each of you  to sincerely pray for those you love that may not be prepared. Pray for those who are in denial of truth.Pray for your fellow men and women throughout the world and voice theses words among those you say...

"I ask that You give those that are unprepared among my loved ones and across this world ears to hear Your Words. Enlighten them with Your message and SAVE THEM..."

As a Christian you must stand ready to teach and spread God's 'Good News' to any in need. As a servant of God you have been instructed to do just this.

Please realize this, when all heck breaks loose...and it will...every man will give himself over to his lusts. Whether those lusts be for sex, power, sadistic or otherwise...be prepared.  Be prepared to face those who will attempt to force false gods upon you...Prepare yourself to hear false words from pulpits as the most corrupt and damnable doctrines are foisted off on unsuspecting listeners...Prepare yourselves for the horrors of war...famine...pestilence...

Today...this very day we are at war...Our war is spiritual and the demons of Satan are unleashed upon us. The go disguised as ordinary men and women, but are, in truth, demons and demonic in their intentions. There are false religions, elected officials. men and women posing as God's ordained Pastors...Even more demons are spread among us and do there very best to unravel and good that is being done. 

We are witnessing some of this today, but know this...it will get worse...and worse.

There will come a time of actual war. Physical war that will bear horrors beyond your worse imaginations. You must prepare yourselves and stay ready on one the alert. Fear paralyzes, and you must not allow any thoughts of panic and fear to penetrate your minds. As a Christian you must stand firm in the belief that God is at your side. Your Lord and Savior is with you and will be accepting you into Paradise at the time of your earthly demise.

Lastly, know this and cling tight to this knowledge...You are going to come face to face with your Lord and Savior...This thought must be a thrill in your heart and mind...There must be no calamity that causes any doubts as to you salvation and no fears of any man...As He directs, "stay ready..."

Father we come before You with praise for You in our hearts and in our minds. Our love for You is reflected in our lives and our actions. We worship You in Spirit and in truth. You are our God and these is no other.

Lord there are those that are not Your servants and seek to do us harm for our belief in You. We ask that You enlighten those that stand against us and those who refuse to accept You be weakened in their resolve so as to allow us to live lives of happiness confident of Your mercies. As our El Gibbor, give us the strength to withstand any horrors brought to bear upon us.

Lord...We love You...We stand fast to Your Word...and We stand in preparation of the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ...

We pray these words in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Who is One with You and the Holy Spirit, One God Forever and ever,

Amen, amen and amen
