Jimmy Carter Invites the Money Changers Back to the Temple
For $20,000.00, you and your significant other can go to church with Jimmy Carter. Yes, for a campaign donation to a political campaign, you can go to church with Jimmy Carter.

Easter 1916 And A Lesson For The GOP
The situation facing the Irish Republican faction in Ireland in 1916 was grim. Though thee movement had made immense strides towards Irish independence in the first decade of the 20th Century, World War I had bought it to a halt. Thousands of Irishmen joined the British Army at the outbreak of the war, many of them had died on the Western Front and at Gallipoli. The recent history of Chile (Pinochet), Pakistan (Ali Bhutto, Musharraf), Egypt (Mubarak, Morsi) serve as reminders of the fragility of the democratic process. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Kelo Decision A Rousing Success

City of New London, essentially eliminated property rights so long as someone more powerful than the current owner wanted the land. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

Lunatic Lord
We accept that Socrates existed, though Socrates did not leave writings behind. A few people so intent on believing Jesus is imaginary have decided Socrates was too. These are largely weak minded fools.

Socrates may have no writings on his own, but Plato, Xenophon and Aristophanes — all of whom we know existed — wrote about Socrates. We derive knowledge of Socrates from those who did know him and wrote about him. The same is true of Jesus.  . . . please click here for the rest of the post
