ALERT: Liberals look to push minimum-wage hike next month! Tell Congress to OPPOSE this effort!

On February 14, Barack Obama signed an unconstitutional executive order hiking the minimum wage for federal workers and contractors to $10.10 per hour.
Sadly, the socialists in Congress are in the process of "finishing the job" and forcing private businesses to pay-out the same.
While many liberals laud the idea of government raising the minimum wage, the reality is: there is nothing praiseworthy about forcing employers to pay higher prices for labor. In fact, forcing a business owner to part with his or her capital for "fairness' sake" is nothing more than wealth redistribution and theft. Or, is an individual's money not his own property?
What's more, if the federal government overprices labor by hiking the minimum wage the results would actually destroy jobs for low-level workers - the very demographic their "fair wage" mandate is aimed to assist!
(What good is a $10.10 per hour wage if there aren't any jobs? Of course, liberals don't like to think about that... they like to think they can "legislate away" economic law.)
As lawmakers like Rep. Nancy Pelosi are already calling on conservatives to support their misguided plan, we're counting on you and other grassroots Americans to make your voices heard loud and clear on this issue and tell U.S. lawmakers to oppose this latest redistributionist scheme!
With Majority Leader Harry Reid expected to bring the "fair wage" plan to the Senate floor next month, it's crucial we move on this issue right now and start making noise.

The best way to see workers' wages increase is for government to allow the market system work and not intervene in the economy. History has certainly shown that free and voluntary markets bring high wages for workers as well as lower prices! It's bad government policy, not economic freedom, that brings poverty and want.
If the socialists win in hiking the minimum wage we will not see an increase in prosperity - shackling the market in any fashion never leads to prosperity - but we will see more unnecessary small business closures and fewer jobs; we will also see more employers resort to foreign or illegal labor to keep costs down.
The simple fact is this: the government exists to defend the life, liberty, and property of the individual -- it does not exist to force employers to give their property away in the name of "fairness" and "equality."
Congress swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, not the Communist Manifesto!
