The Rock: “Finally…First Friday…has come
back to…Stoney’s!”
That’s
right. Our First Friday Happy Hour is
returning to where it all began over four years ago: Stoney’s Rockin’ Country.
But note that Stoney’s itself has moved since then and is now in the
same shopping mall as the Blue Martini,
where we’ve held First Friday the last few months.
Our
VIP guest-of-honor tomorrow night will be tea party leader and longtime
conservative activist Niger Innis…who
may or may not have a thing or two to say about his potential congressional
candidacy in Nevada’s 4th congressional district – the seat
currently occupied by Democrat Rep. Steven
Horsford.
Also,
to welcome us back in style will be former Nevada State Sen. Sue Lowden, the conservative GOP
candidate for lieutenant governor whose son, Chris, is part-owner of Stoney’s.
And
if we’re lucky, the lovely and talented Alan
Stock will be back from his Hawaiian vacation, tanned, rested and ready to
MC the festivities and extend the New Year celebrations, along with our new
co-host, Nevada GOP Chairman Michael
McDonald.
Be
there or be talked about!
Oh,
and if you haven’t joined the First Friday VIP Club yet, I’m going to extend

CONSERVATIVE RATINGS
Citizen
Outreach’s conservative ratings for the 2013 legislative session are all but
finalized…and the rankings may be released at tomorrow night’s First Friday
Happy Hour.
And in
the spirit of former Nixon Attorney General John Mitchell’s “Watch what we do, not what we say,” you’re gonna
see some real surprises from some Republicans who’ve been claiming to be conservatives
but who voted like Bolsheviks in Carson City!
RUN ADAM, RUN!
The
Nevada GOP has an online petition that you can sign to urge Adam Laxalt, former Nevada U.S. Sen. Paul Laxalt’s grandson, to run for attorney
general against the Democrat’s golden boy and uber-partisan, current Secretary
of State Ross Miller. You can add your name to the petition before
it’s sent to Adam this weekend by going to:
HELP WANTED
Are
you a conservative activist who lives in Washoe County, is interested in
working on political campaigns…but don’t know where to start? Well, do I have an opportunity for you!
