Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lashed out today against a potential
Middle East peace deal being crafted between members of the United
Nations Security Council, the United States, and Iran in Geneva,
Switzerland.
The
prospective deal once again places Israel in the crosshairs of Iran, a
nation which has vowed to annihilate Israel as an “intruder” in the
Middle East.
Please see my important update below and respond to a vitally important call to action – Mat.
Conservatives,
Israel’s
Prime Minister pulls no punches when it comes to the security of the
nation he has sworn to defend – unlike our own Commander-in-Chief.
If
the international community approves the proposed deal in Geneva with
Iran, Israel will find its interests subordinated to the will of the
world community. According to reports, the deal is soft on Iran and
requires little in Iranian (wink-wink) “concessions.”
Astoundingly,
in the midst of negotiations, Iranian state television has been airing a
program depicting how Iran’s missiles could launch an assault on Israel
and annihilate the country!
Iran
has declared that no enemy nation is exempt from their missile strike
capabilities, including U.S. bases in the region and even the United
States itself. Of course, Israel’s borders are easily within striking
distance of Iran’s extensive missile arsenal.
++The Obama administration is negotiating with Iran to get a “very, very bad deal.”
Israel will once again bear the brunt of the Obama administration’s ill-advised Middle East policies. As reported by The Weekly Standard, here is what Prime Minister Netanyahu said of the deal after meeting with Secretary of State John Kerry...
“I
reminded him that he said that no deal is better than a bad deal. That
the deal that is being discussed in Geneva right now is a bad deal. It’s
a very bad deal. Iran is not required to take apart even one
centrifuge. But the international community is relieving sanctions on
Iran for the first time after many years.
Iran
gets everything that it wanted at this stage and it pays nothing. And
this is when Iran is under severe pressure. I urged Secretary Kerry not
to rush to sign – to wait, to reconsider, to get a good deal. But this
is a bad deal – a very, very bad deal. It’s the deal of a century for
Iran; it’s a very dangerous and bad deal for peace and the international
community.”
In
the proposed “interim” deal, sanctions against Iran will be relaxed in
return for production limits being placed on Iran’s nuclear program,
stopping the weapons-grade uranium enrichment, and allowing for
increased inspection and monitoring.
Israel contends that sanctions relief against Iran should take place AFTER it has dismantled its enrichment facilities.
The
bottom line: Contrary to the policies of the Obama administration, we
MUST steadfastly show solidarity with Israel and its interests!

comes to the relationship with our closest ally in the Middle East.

this is “a very, very bad deal.”
