Grassfire has teamed up with Energy Citizens in encouraging Americans to join America's energy revolution and Stand Up For U.S Energy.

Last week marked five years since the process began to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.

To put that in perspective – it didn’t take Michelangelo five years to paint the Sistine Chapel.





The President now has five studies of the pipeline, and each one demonstrated that it was safe for the environment. The time for studying is over. We need the President to approve the pipeline now!

Tell President Obama we can’t afford to wait any longer!

The Keystone XL Pipeline will:

• Provide the U.S. with a source of oil from a reliable, stable ally – Canada.M
• Move American oil from the northern Great Plains to U.S. refineries.
• Support more than 20,000 construction and manufacturing jobs.
• Add $20 billion in value to the U.S. economy.

 

Tell President Obama that it is in America’s national interest to approve the Keystone pipeline!

It’s time for President Obama to do the right thing for U.S. workers and consumers. It’s time to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline!
