1.  The Cries of the House GOP Staffers and Congressmen
Put simply: Conservatives are only making Republicans do what they said they were going to do. That these Republicans and their allies off the Hill now cry foul and claim conservatives are only pushing this issue to make money in fundraises raises a particularly cruel question.

Right, John Cornyn?

Right, Eric Cantor?

Right, Kevin McCarthy?

Right, Mitch McConnell?

The fact is, Ted Cruz is winning. And in the process of winning, he is showing Republicans just how pathetic their representatives in Washington can be. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

2.  Quinnipac predicts unprecedented Libertarian surge in Virginia governor’s race!
Well, that would have to be the alternative explanation to what’s apparently happening, which is that the governor’s race is tightening in Virginia again. Cuccinelli/McAuliffe went from 42/48 in August’s Q-Poll to 41/44 now. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

3.  Arab Spring: Tunisian Edition
Has it really been only two years since the Arab Spring? It seems like only yesterday that the White House was patting itself on the back over the successful use of “soft power” to transform the Arab world: something that the evil Bush and his neo-con banditti would never have contemplated. . . . please click here for the rest of the post

4.  Obama’s Syrian Failure Begins To Bear Fruit
Obama has assured us that he’s a big picture kind of guy. He’s the deep thinker who can’t be worried about process because he’s so focused on the brass ring of success . . . please click here for the rest of the post

5.  Time to Move Beyond Bob Barr in Georgia’s 11th
Bob Barr is a former Republican congressman from Georgia. After a redistricting battle in the early 2000′s, Barr lost his seat. He left Congress, became a critic of the Patriot Act, and by 2006 had become a libertarian.

In 2008, Bob Barr was the Libertarian Presidential nominee. He received 0.4% of the national vote.

Between his break with the Bush Administration on the Patriot Act and his run as the Libertarian Presidential nominee, Bob Barr has attracted a growing following of liberty minded individuals. Now he is running for Congress again in Georgia’s 11th congressional district. . . . please click here for the rest of the post
