LATE NOTICE:    TMLC Attorney Erin Mersino will be on Fox & Friends Sunday with her client, Marine Corps Veteran Peter Parente. TMLC filed a lawsuit last week against the Mayor of the City of New Rochelle, NY and five members of the City Council for ordering the removal of the “Don’t Tread on Me” Flag (known as the Gadsden Flag) from the local Armory. They said it was associated with the Tea Party. The United Veterans Memorial & Patriotic Association of New Rochelle, New York (UVMPA-NR) raised the historic Gadsden Flag during a ceremony to replace a torn American flag. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of UVMPA-NR and its President, Peter Parente, a Marine Corps veteran.

Let's be clear about the intentions behind recent administration action...It has become increasingly clear since President Barack Obama’s reelection that he and his administration intend to govern as they wish, pushing as far and as fast as they can against constitutional and other legal limits which have constrained previous administrations. It has also become more than obvious that it is willing to hurt those who might get in their way, and to exploit others whose help they can co-opt to accomplish their agenda. In essence, Obama and his administration are telling America’s institutions, its states, its legal framework, and Americans in general: “Bleep you.”

As everyday Americans face healthcare premium rate shock thanks to Obamacare, Congress and their staffs have just been exempted from having to pay thousands of dollars in extra cash for their healthcare next year. How? Their plans are being heavily subsidized by taxpayers.
Both parties already seem to agree that government should be big and expensive (despite GOP rhetoric), and now it would seem that the Republican Party is embracing the idea of rewarding those whose first act in this country is a crime. If this is to be the case, Republicans can now bid farewell to the White House forever, as true conservatives will never compromise their principles as the GOP seems to do so easily.

When Seattle one day gets around to banning all words, because language is inherently offensive to the illiterate, and everyone is reduced to communicating with grunts and emphatic gestures, an era of true tolerance and nomadic lifestyles will be upon us.

Just when you thought the NSA surveillance programs couldn't get any scarier, the spy agency goes ahead and makes Canada part of the U.S. "homeland." That's how Canada - as well as Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean - was labeled on an NSA map presented at a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting Wednesday.

Common Core was/is not about high-quality national education standards. It was/is not about getting low-income, high-achieving students into advanced math and science courses in high school and then into college. CCSSI was and is about how to lower the academic level of what states require for high school diplomas and for admission to public colleges. Of course, Common Core proponents can't say that lowering academic standards is their goal. Instead, they claim that its standards will reduce the seemingly terrible problems we have with interstate mobility (actually less than 2 percent nationally) or enable Massachusetts teachers to know how Mississippi students compare to theirs (something they never said they were eager to learn), or facilitate nationally the sale of high-tech products to the public schools (something the P-21 skills folks were eager for). They have looked desperately for motivating issues and these are the best cards in their deck, as poor as they are.

BJ3 Comment: Who says they are "afraid"? To us and many other Americans, these "republicans" are in cahoots and out for their own personal and political gain through their one New World Order Party...And,  if RUSH REALLY thinks its "fear, then he URGENTLY needs to wake up.
BJ3 Comment: As many of you know, our personal view on the related below is that we don't know if he is "natural born citizen" , POTUS eligible or not...because he has yet to publicly provide HIS OWN, ACTUAL, reportedly sealed and vaulted (at $5 million taxpayer expense), VALID, RIGHTLY-CERTIFIED, ORIGINAL HAWAIIAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE. All that's been "released" (and none by him) are two electronic images, one INVALID (says so on the document) and the other NOT CERTIFIED as his "Original Hawaiian Birth Certificate (plus the word "THE" in the "certification" is spelled "TXE". And you can't go by what he says because he too did not witness his own birth or conception.  So how would he know?
   The really unsaory part is that ALL republican Congresscritters who were contacted by their constituents (thousands at the least) to demand his Birth Certificate (as described above) REFUSED.
