THE MYTHS SPREAD BY DEMOCRATS

Here is my response, point by point, since you insist on my taking up a large part of my Sunday stating the obvious.

When I use the word 'lead' I construe it in the original sense.

When you say that the Dems have led, you give them credit that they don't deserve. This kind of statement gives them more power.

The Democrats don't lead, they mislead by changing the definitions of the word, knowning that there are soft headed people who will follow their lead--or rather their 'mislead.'

 

On immigration, they change the definition of 2 terms: immigration and illegal immigration.

Immigration used to mean the movement of people from a foreign country to our country and it strongly implied legal immigration. Illegal immigration used to mean immigation that entailed a penalty.

The Democrat definition of immigration, also adopted by misled and foolish Republicans who wouldn't recognize deception if it gave them a well-deserved smack on the chops, is the movement of people from another country (which is no longer called foreign since we are said to all be world citizens now--another classic deceit that soft headed Republicans fall for instantly), mostly without papers, something that is illegal but the illegality is not acknowledged.

For Democrats and their gullible enablers, there simply is no such thing as illegal immigration because they have swallowed hook line and sinker the notion expressed by Nancy Pelosi that 'no one is illegal.' Therefore the only 'definition' for the term 'illegal immigration' is scorn for anyone audacious enough to utter it.

 

Gun control: The Dems have misled on this issue too, making it seem as if protecting oneself with a gun against an imminent threat of death is a crime and that only cops, who are now overstepping their constitutional bounds like never before, are the only ones entitled to have and use guns. This is not leading. It is just more harping on the only saw that government knows best. Conservatives are the true leaders here, pointing out the basic flaws in this thinking and not allowing the Dems to 'exploit the crisis,' as advocated by Rahm Emanuel. Conservatives have wisely avoided falling into this trap.

 

Healthcare: For a non-Democrat to claim that the Dems have 'led' on healthcare by giving the nation a miscreant monstrosity of a law whose very author, a Democrat, has called a train wreck, is nothing but a Democrat in disguise.

 

Gay rights: Again, the Dems and their dull witted enablers have only misled, changing the definition of marriage.

Not to pull rank, but my area of expertise is language. Now, there are over 600 natural languages in the world and not one of them has an equivalent for our word 'marriage' that can mean both same sex and heterosex marriage. If this is not conclusive evidence that the notion of same sex marriage is an unnatural, artificial construct that runs counter to human nature, then there is no such thing as conclusive evidence.

Once more, before I reach for my aspirin bottle, let me say that it is too late to save the America we once knew and loved. The squishy brained Republican enablers of the far left have already invited the termites into our structure and have fed them and catered to their needs.

 

If you are delighted with illegal alien gangs in the big cities and the fact that these gangs now outnumber police by 10 to 1; if you are thrilled that cities like Chicago have the highest percentage per capita of gun related deaths thanks to the strict gun control policies that prevent the innocent from protecting themselves; if you just love Obamacare and the way it is discouraging employers from hiring; if you like the way religious freedom has taken a back seat to sexual freedom, to the extent that Christian business owners are now being punished for not helping organize 'gay' weddings; and let me add one you forgot: if you are happy that our economy has been trashed by the money-printing, outbailing Obama-Bush-Bernanke team, thank a wishy washy empty addle-brained middle of the roader for facilitating all of this while others were refusing to compromise with evil politicians licking their chops at the prospect of America's demise.
