Boehner calls out Rep. King on immigration
insult
WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker John Boehner says
it was "deeply offensive and wrong" for fellow Republican Rep. Steve King to
suggest many younger unauthorized immigrants are drug
runners.
Boehner already had
issued a written statement earlier in the week condemning King's comments, but
at his weekly news conference Thursday he elevated his criticism and took the
unusual step of calling King out by name. Boehner said the Iowa Republican's comments
don't reflect the values of the American people or the
GOP.
King told a
conservative news website that with respect to immigrants brought illegally to
the U.S. as kids, "for every one who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out
there that weigh 130 pounds and they've got calves the size of cantaloupes
because they're hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert."

over criminals that that U.S. Border Patrol wants to deport. A few days
ago, in Rochester, NY, the Border Patrol finally detained an illegal alien who
had been CONVICTED in this country 37 times of crimes. In fact—ALL illegal
aliens are criminals—many not convicted of crimes that you or I would go to jail
for, i.e. fraud, stolen ID’s, lying on applications, use of welfare services,
stealing tax refunds from the IRS and much more. Drive without a license
and you are fined, caught several times you go to jail. If you are an
illegal alien the cop just tells you to have a nice day.
This illegal alien has been breaking our laws since 1982—for
31 years!

birth papers to prove that he's a "citizen". That's what Mr. Obama needs
to show (HIS OWN birth papers) so that we all know that he
is too...the same way. So, what Senator Cruz needs to publicly do is
call a press conference and say, "Here is MY OWN ACTUAL, valid, rightly
certified, ORIGINAL Birth Certificate to prove that I AM a 'citizen'. OK? Now,
Mr. Obama, let's all see your own actual original one, too. Thank you".
