In
several recent media appearances, Allen West, a former congressman,
army colonel, and current Fox News contributor, has expressed his
outrage over Benghazi while demanding accountability and the creation of
a congressional Select Committee.
West is reminding all of us that the time-honored, sacred code of America’s armed forces is “Leave no man behind.” Sadly, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton hung the entire Benghazi Consulate out to dry on September 11, 2012.
Perhaps the intensity of the administration’s cover-up is proportional to the shame they must (or at least, should) feel at their inaction once the attacks began and their subsequent dishonorable behavior in trying to cover it all up.

Appearing on Fox News, Allen West spoke like a man on a mission who will not surrender when it comes to uncovering the truth about Benghazi…
“We have this mantra, ‘Leave no man behind.’ We turned our backs on men who were defending American soil, who were under attack, and that is reprehensible.”
West then turned his sights on the Obama administration, the media, and Congress…
“Without
a doubt, this has to be seen as a cover-up and [we must expose]
everyone that is complicit in this, to include the media and those not
willing to sign the discharge petition or H. Res. 36.”
HR 36 is the bill to establish a Select Committee to fully investigate the Benghazi massacre, as authored by Congressman Frank Wolfe, a champion in the call for a Benghazi investigation.
The discharge petition was filed by Congressman Steve Stockman to force a vote in the House of Representatives to consider HR-36, which Speaker Boehner has opposed as being “unnecessary.”

Our Campaigner-in-Chief, the one charged with the defense of our country’s interests and the welfare of our statesmen and their delegations abroad – and who assigned this responsibility to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – is stumping across the nation calling for us to put this “phony scandal” behind us.
I’m not surprised. This president is shameless.
Since when did a terrorist
attack, the deaths of four Americans, including a U.S. Ambassador, and
the subsequent deception of the American people by our President and his
administration constitute a “phony scandal”?
Justice has not been served. Those responsible for the deaths and those complicit in our own government have not been held accountable. The truth has not been uncovered. Witnesses have been sequestered and intimidated.
Today I am calling on those of you who have yet to fax Congress to please join us in calling on our elected representatives to pass HR-36 and commission a Select Committee to fully investigate this American atrocity.

that our voices are being heard.
Just in the past few months, Liberty Counsel Action supporters have barraged Congress with over 80,000 highly targeted faxes demanding the establishment of a Select Committee, but we need to do even more to compel Congress to act!
One measure of our success is that Congressman Wolfe now has 162 co-sponsors of his bill and the list is growing. Honestly, I can’t imagine why the entire House majority and a significant percentage of the Democrat minority haven’t already signed on!
Nonetheless, we must continue to sound the call for accountability and justice! The families of the fallen deserve to know how and why their loved ones died – and the American people need to know how and why this administration failed to protect our own after multiple cries for help.
