The Constitution versus the Push for Tyrannyby lisarichardsrocknrollpolitics |
Often times we hear Americans claim the Constitution was written for times past and it has nothing to do with this present, or future, generations. That lie has infected too many people over the last century, causing many to give up their independence and self-determination for repressive dominion by leaders who take what belongs to the people by God-given birthright, giving the takings to the government that does not stand for, or uphold, the will and privileges of the people.
Woodrow Wilson himself was one of the first to utter such claims against the Constitution: That is was an old-fashioned document written for an era long gone. This assertion was purposely made in order to dismantle the Constitution. Wilson wanted Americans believing we must evolve back into a parliamentary form of government where the most well-educated, whom Wilson referred to as "the Elitists," should have control over government and people's decisions. Wilson believed Americans in the ranks of middle and lower classes could not possibly make decisions without well-educated upper class members of society doing the thinking and deciding for the lower classes of people.
To utter such audacious words implies human beings are incapable of doing anything unless they are born into a certain class and educated in particular select schools considered the cream of the crop. This view clearly says most people are beneath the noteworthy and special members of society considered far above the rest. Those below the best in class must be perfected, as Wilson stated, by the superior class of beings. But this is not what the United States Constitution states when saying "We the People," and "common defense, and "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." The preamble does not say "We the Government," or “we the Elitists above All the Lower Members of Society,” nor does the Constitution state anywhere that liberty does not belong to the people and the future of this nation. Thus the reason why Progressives have been trying for a century to destroy the Constitution and rewrite liberty into something undeserving to all but the best in class.
The Constitution clearly states all Americans are free and liberty belongs to each as an individual. By this, liberty is enduring, it is not fading.
The Constitution was written for all times: Past, present and future, because it upholds the basic rights of human beings laid down by God at creation.
Secondly, the Constitution does not evolve, because liberty and freedom are NOT ever-changing or they would not be liberty and freedom, and people would no longer seek them over tyranny. Liberty and freedom stand as they are and have existed since the dawn of creation, which is why humans have always fought to free themselves from tyrants.
It is man who tries to steal liberty and freedom from others. It is man who wants to control, not God. God freely gave humans, as well as the angels—many of whom rebelled by choice—autonomy when creating all people in HIS image. Thus, liberty and individual self-determination are for all people at all times and not something that belongs to the past when the Constitution was written.
Again: The Constitution stands for all times, because it upholds Nature's Laws, not tyranny. Tyranny cannot stand, nor can it endure. It rises up and enslaves people, but eventually people rise up when they realize they are free individuals from their first breath and not chattel to be held as slaves under the tyranny of men with passions for control.
So we must ask ourselves in these perilous times: If liberty and freedom were created only for the past, why isn’t tyranny something we all seek to live under? Wouldn’t it be desirable by all if tyranny is liberating?
Furthermore, if God-given rights are simply a thing of the past, then God only existed in the past and men in charge of governments today truly are gods we people must bow down to and submit our will to. If that’s true, we should never have ended slavery in America.
But the Constitution in fact proves, through its words, that each one of us is not only an individual with a free-thinking mind, but we are all capable of governing and giving our consent to those in power, as well as removing those leading if they assume to take what belongs to us.
Individual sovereignty is something which belongs to us all by birth. The Constitution states quite clearly this fact: People—not the select few who want power—govern the government that must dispense laws according to the consent and choice of the people. Therefore, because no person, in any time, was created a god with god-like powers to rule over people as a tyrant taking that which belongs to all by birth—liberty—no person given the consent to lead can refuse the permission and approval of the people. The people govern, the people have say, the people have the right under the Constitution to become leaders if they so choose, and, because the people are the government, the people can remove the government at any time because of this very fact.
This is not to say slavery does not exist in parts of the world where tyrants control people. We know this to be so. But we also know that the inner heart of all human beings—the nature of man is to be free. When freedom is stolen and people are told what they can and cannot do and can and cannot have, eventually the inner core of freedom bubbles to the surface like a volcano and erupts, and the desire to be released from the bonds of restriction overflows and spreads like a fiery, uncontrollable lava overtaking tyranny.
Emancipation always destroys despotism and sets a new foundation for what has belonged to all from the dawn of creation: Liberty and freedom: Something that cannot be destroyed, but can, and has, destroyed autocracy.
For this reason the Constitution is never-changing.
