I just happened to hear about a disturbing report on NBC just now about our Marines.
It seems that 500,000 to 1 million Marines and their families at Camp Lejeune had developed stomach, breast, liver & blood cancers from contaminated drinking water ! It was traced to a dry cleaners off base in which chemicals contaminated the underground wells as well as Marine Industrial Wastes did the same thing.
Now the families wanted compensation after this revelation and NO MONEY HAS BEEN DISTRIBUTED ...PERIOD!!
The Marine leaders have been delaying and denying in order to stall giving any monies to help the enlisted people......this water had not been tested waaaay back when something could have been done....
Obama signed an order to have the money released but so far these people who had served our country are now DYING OF CANCERS !!!
Three different cancer causing chemicals were found and a scientist said that the amount discovered was the highest he had ever seen !!!!!!! This is beyond inexcusable & egregious!!!
This proves that LIFE MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THESE 'RATS RESPONSIBLE' for this travesty !!!!!!!! Nancy
