OBAMA IS NOT WHAT WE NEED AS WE NEED TRUTH!

The ungodly state of the union
Much of the occupant of the Oval Office's inauguration speech sounded good, taking the principles of the Constitution and making them real for all Americans. It's pretty easy rhetoric on the ears to those who love God and liberty. But there are key phrases within the speech that serve as anchors for the ungodly truth of this particular Administration. The first clue is his statement: "But we have always understood that when times change, so must we; that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges; that preserving our individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action." The word "collective" in this phrase is a key signal because it is no less than code for a godless tyranny.

Collectivism is "the practice or principle of giving a group priority over each individual in it; the theory and practice of the ownership of land and the means of production by the people or the state." Wikipedia says, "Collectivism has been used to refer to a diverse range of political and economic positions, including democracy, totalitarian nationalism, monarchy and communism. In modern times, collectivism is sometimes thought to be synonymous with socialism." "Collective Action" would be the implementation of collectivism in society. This is likely what the occupant means when he says preserving individual freedoms requires collective action. He used classic communist rhetoric in outlining his progressive proposals.
He defined his Creed of collective action: "So we must harness new ideas and technology to remake our government, revamp our tax code, reform our schools, and empower our citizens with the skills they need to work harder, learn more, reach higher. But while the means will change, our purpose endures:  a nation that rewards the effort and determination of every single American. That is what this moment requires. That is what will give real meaning to our creed." He outlined broader government action in taxing Americans on climate change, broadening the scope of social entitlements, continuing his brand of Islamic nation building in the Middle East, homosexual rights, and welcoming illegal immigrants.
Why is this ungodly? First, collectivism is the replacement of God with the state, ultimately abolishing all morals, religion and property ownership.
Second, collectivism over individual rights is covetousness. Exodus 20:17 says, "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's." Your property, your means of enterprise, even your marriage is threatened by this government's intent.
Third, equality is necessary, but political elevation is not. Leviticus 18:22 says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Embracing this as government policy is also ungodly.
Do not be fooled by elegant words and interpreting these images from your own point of view--look at them from the speaker's worldview. Ephesians 5:6-7 says, "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things come the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be ye not therefore partakers with them."

Good advice. Follow God not man.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
