URGENT: Gun sales are at record highs as American new and long-time gun owners take up arms against the Obama administration's U.N. plot to disarm our citizens. If the U.N. Gun Treaty is passed it will put the globalist anti-gun agencies of the United Nations in charge of regulating – then extirpating – our Second Amendment rights into oblivion!
Barack Obama and his globalist U.N. cronies let the so-called 'Arms Trade Treaty' talks die down in July, fearing it might cost Obama the election among men and union members – and in turn wreck their chance to finally undermine and destroy our constitutional Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
Now the U.N. Arms Control Treaty is back with a vengeance and could pass with ratification in the leftwing U.S. Senate ANY DAY.
Americans just like you are running to the gun shops to arm themselves against the coming restrictions, rules and regulations from the Oval Office and abroad…
…not to mention outright weapon bans and prohibitions, and ammo "back-logs" and embargos. But a 20 percent increase in applications for legal gun ownership and record sales mean nothing if Barack Obama and the United Nations are not stopped from hyper-taxing and nanny-legislating our guns right out of our hands and into the big government stockpiles to turn against us when we fall out of line.
Congress is WEAK and MUST BE COMPELLED TO DO THEIR DUTY TO THEIR OATHS OF OFFICE.
We can no longer rely on our elected officials to OBEY the U.S. Constitution – we must apply overwhelming political force to get them to listen to WE THE PEOPLE and demand that our Second Amendment be protected from U.N. encroachment and usurpation before it's too late.
If Obama and his U.N. allies are not stopped NOW, they'll simply have more guns to grab, all the way down to your family legacies, antiques and hunting rifles!
Obama is hoping to seize your Second Amendment rights in a cat and mouse game between you and the U.N. – with Big Brother Obama pretending to be nowhere present and looking the other way as our constitutional rights are plotted against and taken away!
Now no longer fearing re-election, Barack Hussein Obama and his anti-gun lobby are moving TODAY to make disarming the American people and dismantling the Second Amendment a top priority of his second term – and this plot to regulate and tax our Right to Keep and Bear Arms into unusable, unaffordable, unrealizable words on paper MUST BE STOPPED!
And you can bet your last bullet that if Obama and the U.N.'s joint effort to disarm America is not stopped COLD in the Congress with NO funding from the House and NO ratification support from the Senate, then there will be executive orders (like there always are whenever Dear Leader doesn't get his way) making guns and ammunition more regulated, more prohibited, more expensive and eventually impossible to own.
That's why, right now, America needs YOU to pressure House Speaker John Boehner and every other member of Congress to cut off funds for any executive or international anti-gun efforts, and tremendous pressure against the U.H. Gun Grab applied in the Senate. We have the allies we need to save our Second Amendment – we just need to make it their priority TODAY!
Forget Al Qaeda. Forget China. Barack Obama's biggest fear at this pivotal moment in history is an America ready and able to fight back against the systemic dismantling of our Constitutional freedoms. We do not know how radical his "fundamental transformation" of our institutions of liberty will become; we cannot yet tell how redistributive and communistic our economy, one new hand-out and tax increase after another, will be.
But we can be certain that Obama does not want free Americans empowered against tyranny and illegal anti-Constitutionalism by virtue of their Second Amendment rights!
So the Obama administration is already gearing up to make gun ownership more difficult and more expensive with the end game of making our Right to Keep and Bear Arms unaffordable and eventually impossible. Obama doesn't care whether this is done through an international treaty with the U.N., ratified or not by the leftwing Senate, or by issuing illicit orders straight from the Oval Office. The maneuvering at the U.N. to bring back the international gun ban is back on the fast track TODAY!
Illegal, illicit, UNCONSTITUTIONAL – we know Obama will do whatever it takes to make sure that WE THE PEOPLE are disarmed.
If Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda is not stopped, our Right to Keep and Bear Arms as AMERICANS will exist only on paper. Our Second Amendment will be obliterated because the ability to exercise our Constitutional Right will be impossible.
To know what we're up against just look at this sampling of Barack Obama's anti-gun record, as we have reported to you previously, and is now being confirmed inThe Blaze:
In 1996, as candidate for the Illinois state Senate,Obama endorsed the state's handgun ban. He alsosupported legislation to "ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns," to"ban assault weapons" and to require "mandatory waiting periods and background checks."
Then once in the state Senate, Obama sought to require the licensing and registering of gun owners.
In 1998, as part of the "Illinois National Political Awareness Test" from Project Vote Smart, he made clear his support to "ban the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic weapons."
Two years later, Obama co-sponsored a state bill to limit handgun purchases to one per month.
In 2005, Obama opposed a bill that would protect firearms manufacturers from lawsuits for harm resulting from unlawful misuse of their products.
Obama opposes in concept citizen concealed carry.
While pandering to his anti-gun base at a 2008 fundraising in San Francisco, he described Americans in rural Pennsylvania and the Midwest as "bitter" people who "cling to guns."
Regarding the D.C. handgun ban that same year, Obama publicly indicated that he believed an outright ban was Constitutional and supported it.
Obama believes that "just because you have an individual right does not mean that the state or local government can't constrain the exercise of that right."
Sure, Obama was politically compelled to sign a law to allow firearms in national parks and claims to believe in the right to bear arms, but his record speaks for itself. He's a committed gun-grabber carrying water for the gun-control lobby, selling lies to the uninformed American people that gun control is in the best interest of public safety.
This is such an absurd claim that even millions of dollars of federally-funded (yes, your tax dollars hard at work) junk science at the National Institutes of Health proved gun control advocates can't back it up – in fact, years of data review and case studies have proved just the opposite: gun ownership saves lives.
Then there is the blatantly obvious example of Obama's stomping grounds in Chicago. As of October 29, the total number of homicides reached 438, up 23 percent from last year DESPITE (because of!) some of the most stringent gun control laws in the country.
This was two months AFTER Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel rushed a new anti-gun ordinance into place using the completely irrelevant Colorado movie theatre massacre as an excuse to permanently bar anyone convicted of any felony from legally owning a firearm, while imposing a five-year ban on gun ownership for anyone convicted of a misdemeanor violent crime
Instead of attributing the murder of more Chicago residents than U.S. troops killed in Afghanistan to a degenerate criminal culture of gang members and drug dealers possessing ILLEGAL firearms, the problem of rampant inner-city violence is blamed on legal gun ownership and the Second Amendment!
This is all part of the Obama administration's hatred and targeting of our Right to Arms! At the national level, CBS News found evidence that ATF officials involved in the "Fast and Furious" illegal gun-running scandal used the gun sales they oversaw to call for gun control!
Our Founding Fathers knew 250 years ago that armed citizens were free citizens, not subjects.
George Mason warned America in 1788 that "to disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them."
As a nation, we've watched from afar the very real and very deadly examples of what happens when a government disarms its people.
Likewise, common sense and statistics have also repeatedly affirmed that gun ownership and gun rights lead to less violence while states and areas with restricted gun ownership and few carrying rights are riddled with violent crime.
It's only a matter of time before the next tragedy – another movie theater massacre, another round of international ILLEGAL gun-running by our federal government or something terrible in the wake of a Hurricane Sandy or some similar disaster– is successfully used to justify diminishing, restricting or nullifying our Second Amendment by legislation, making it a meaningless "right" because it is impossible to exercise.
And this will only feed the frenzy for an "international treaty" against the evil of personal gun protection and individually owned firearms!
Barack Obama doesn't have to be Campaigner-in-Chief anymore.
Within hours of Obama's re-election, the United States AGAIN threw its weight behind the United Nation's renewed efforts to pass their binding international gun grab.
U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.), one of our most stalwart, toughest allies when it comes to defending our Second Amendment rights, lost his bid for the U.S. Senate in the general election.
This was a critical seat for standing against the United Nations' just renewed efforts to crush our Second Amendment, but we aren't giving up. With more Democrats in the U.S. Senate, the U.N. gun ban treaty threat has become all the more real – but so has our resolve to defeat it!
More than ever before, it's necessary for the future of this country that we cling to our guns and our Constitution.
We MUST use this critical window of opportunity when Washington is talking up 'compromise' on Capitol Hill to protect our Right to Keep and Bear Arms!
The Rehberg Amendment to protect our Second Amendment MUST be passed in order to protect our guns from the U.N.-Obama conspiracy to disarm us.
We MUST act now before WE THE PEOPLE are rendered helpless, and our republic surrendered to tyranny – right along with our guns. We are fighting for YOU, for the Constitution, and our Right to Keep and Bear Arms!
