KEEP AMERICA WORKING - STOP UNIONS FROM MAKING MONEY OFF WORKERS TOIL!

Dear Conservatives,

This fall, my oldest daughter Kelsey started college. After this month's elections, I'm worried about the future we've left for her and all our children.

But there is one thing of which I'm certain.

Your continued support for the work of your National Right to Work Foundation and its fight against the abuses of forced unionism will be absolutely critical throughout the next four years.

You see, now that Big Labor's billion dollar warchest has re-elected forced-dues ally Barack Obama, I'm afraid his second term will be even worse for worker freedom than his first because he will no longer be accountable to the voters

Even before Obama was re-elected, it was going to take years to undo the destruction wreaked on our rights and our economy by the Obama Administration.

Now, with another four years to implement the union boss' wish list, the damage may be devastating unless you and I act now to expand your Foundation's legal program challenging President Obama and his out of control bureaucracy.

Let me tell you why we're at such a crucial juncture in our cause, and how you can help in this challenging time.

You and I know that the union bosses unleashed a record-breaking political spending blitz in 2012 to re-elect Barack Obama.

And it's easy to see why.

First, it's plain as day to the union bosses that the Right to Work movement is alive and growing.

Just this year, Indiana became the 23rd Right to Work state, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker prevailed when the union bosses desperately tried to recall him for restoring worker freedom for civil servants, and Right to Work is on the march in many states -- even the forced unionism stronghold of Michigan

Second, Big Labor's high command knows they have the Obama bureaucracy to do their bidding.

Just look at what he and his administration have done in the first four years:
>> Flagrantly and defiantly violating the U.S. Constitution by making "recess" appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB);
>> Undermining state Right to Work laws in an egregious bullying of Boeing, the airplane manufacturer, for daring to create new jobs in South Carolina rather than Washington State, where workers could be forced to pay union dues and fees;
>> Overturning a landmark NLRB precedent that granted workers the right to demand a secret ballot election after a union seized monopoly bargaining power through the abusive "card check" process;
>> Keeping workers in the dark about their rights and union boss malfeasance by implementing biased notice-posting rules and gutting the budget of the Labor Department office tasked with investigating union boss corruption;
>> Ramming through new union election proceduresdesigned to grease the skids for Big Labor to force more workers under union boss control.
And frankly, the list just goes on and on. Even Obamacare contained a multitude of hidden sweetheart provisions to benefit Big Labor's forced-dues empire.

But with your help, the Right to Work Foundation has been fighting back every step of the way.

And our staff attorneys will continue the fight by filing new lawsuits, FOIA requests, comments, FEC charges and other actions to expose and combat these wrongdoings.

And that's just what happened during the first four years of an Obama Administration. Imagine what the next four could look like.

"I owe these unions," Obama once unashamedly wrote. And you can bet he'll keep paying them back.

After all, with no possible third term, President Obama can't be held accountable by angry voters; so there is nothing to keep him in check

That's why the Foundation's legal and public relations programs are so critical.

And why you're help is so urgently needed.

You see, it's vital the Foundation have a full complement of weapons in our arsenal to combat the Obama bureaucracy's schemes to force more workers to pay dues and fees as a condition of employment.

In addition, the Foundation evaluates judicial and agency appointments, informs key decision makers about what we find, and exposes any Big Labor cronies in the press.

But most of all, we must continue devoting major resources to undoing the damage Obama and his appointees have wrought

It is especially important to step up our precedent-setting strategic legal program that shapes the law through the courts, especially the U.S. Supreme Court.

With the Obama administration's demonstrated willingness to disregard the current law and the Constitution, our Supreme Court litigation program is more crucial than ever

The good news is, Barack Obama has yet to be able to pack the U.S. Supreme Court with forced-unionism apologists and that has allowed your Foundation to set Supreme Court precedents.

Just this summer, in another landmark Foundation-won victory, a 5-4 High Court majority for the first time ever held that if a union raises the fees nonmembers are required to pay, the union must obtain the affirmative consent of nonmembers to collect the new fees.

And your Foundation has two key cases currently pending with the Supreme Court, with more making their way through the federal judiciary.

But I fear, without your help, the needed resources won't be available to fight all of these battles while challenging the Obama administration's onslaught of forced-unionism power grabs

That's why your immediate financial support is so vital.

Would you please take a moment right now to chip in with a tax-deductible contribution of $10 or more

You and I cannot allow the Foundation's efforts to be crippled by a shortage of funds when so much is at stake.

Please consider chipping in a tax-deductible gift of $10 or more today

With your help, I'm confident Foundation attorneys will be able to take forceful action against Big Labor's threats.

Whatever you can afford to give, it's vital you act today

Sincerely,

Mark Mix
P.S. The second Obama term could be even worse for worker freedom than his first.
