THE DIVISION PROJECT
In April of 2010 I wrote about Satan’s scheme to divide and plunder our nation, realizing by the Spirit that this nation was, and is, being lured towards another Civil War. In light of recent events whereby some 750,000 Americans from among all fifty states filed petitions for “secession,” I feel compelled to warn you again about the disturbing parallels between the church in America then and now.
Understand that in the hearts and minds of our forefathers, this nation’s first Civil War did not come about on account of slavery. It was a dispute over money. The South greatly profited from slave labor. In fact, black slaves bore the South’s entire economy upon their backs. Since the nation’s founding the North had stood virtually silent on the issue, because it too profited from goods produced by slavery. False sages have long said, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” They ought to say, “The one who shares my first love is my friend, and my enemy.” During the era leading up to the Civil War, America’s first love was money. It is the same today.
Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. —Revelations 2:4-5
In the mind of God, the Civil War was recompense for our national infidelity, and He raised up violent men to execute His judgment, just as He did against the Israel of old. False grace adherents don’t understand this, because they think we live in a solely New Testament world where Christ came to make peace on this earth. However, as Jesus told His disciples:
“Do you think that I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.” —Luke 12:51-52
A people that persist in wicked and idolatrous behavior place themselves and their nation at the mercy of Satan, who knows no grace.
Recently, I went to a coffee shop and happened to sit down beside a table where three women engaged in Bible study. They were discussing the judgment Nadab and Abihu suffered for offering strange fire before the Lord:
Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the Lord, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord. —Leviticus 10:1-2
Recognizing the appointment, I approached them, introducing myself as a “servant of Jesus Christ,” and asked to join them. They agreed and I proceeded to share with them the revelation the Spirit led my family to discover in order that we better understand God’s warning to His Church in every age:
Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. —Revelations 8:3
When you understand that the ancient incense the Levites offered before God bespoke of the nature of our prayers uplifted to heaven, you realize that Nadab and Abihu were, in a sense, killed for offering up strange prayers. God will show himself holy before any who approach Him. Therefore, be careful to pray in accordance with the Lord’s will, not your own.
Before the outset of the Civil War, a remnant of the Church did cry out to God for a national repentance. The preponderance of the religious establishment, however, prayed for God to sustain their fortunes, made clear by their sustained support for slavery. They did this because they loved themselves and their money more than they loved their Savior. When injustice, bloodshed and the depravity of slavery reached a limit God would no longer tolerate, He handed this nation over to the usurper, and the nation plummeted into Civil War. Consequently, violent men on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line followed the way of Cain and shed their brethren’s blood. Study the accounts of John Brown and Bleeding Kansas and you will see just how vile a supposedly “Christian” society can become.
Today, the preponderance of the religious establishment follows the hearts of their fathers. They pray for unity and peace, but they are unwilling to sacrifice of themselves and their wallets in order to take a stand against our national sin—especially the innocent bloodshed of God’s children:
“And you took your sons and daughters whom you bore to me and sacrificed them as food to the idols. Was your prostitution not enough? You slaughtered my children and sacrificed to the idols.” —Ezekiel 16:20-21
There is a remnant Church today, but what are you praying for? Do you not know that a rebellious people such as ours will not turn from their wickedness unless they have first been humbled? Are you willing to be humbled yourself, in order for your nation to be saved? It was in answer to questions like these that my family gave up everything three and a half years ago for Christ, and for you, His Church.
"Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city.” —Jeremiah 5:1
When I shared our nation’s impending disaster with those women at the coffee shop and testified to their duty in Christ, beginning with the restoration of the Sanctity of Human Life, one of them brought up the Civil War. “Slavery was wrong, right?” she challenged. “But even Paul sent Onesimus back to Philemon, because he knew that his job was not free slaves, but to preach the Gospel.” She added, “The ancient Israelites were even permitted to kill their slaves. Did you know that?”
Incredible! This woman, taught by man and not by God, demonstrates the exact sentiments that paralyzed the Civil War era church. Americans were less concerned about justice and more concerned about protecting their wallets—so they angered God and lost it all!
Why did 750,000 Americans recently petition for secession? Do they honestly believe a house divided can stand? Are they angry for God, or for their wallets? If the other lesser to two evils candidates had won, would he not have led this nation even further into the pit of mammon worship? Certain people in this nation, including in the church, are looking at President Barack Obama like a disease. But I tell you that our president only reflects the contagion that infects the predominant church in America—self worship!
In the world, cures for diseases are rendered from the disease itself. First, the disease is weakened then a vaccine is prepared. God will do the same with this nation. From the president down to the homeless man on the street, we will be humbled, and then we will be restored. But how much must you suffer O Israel before you accept God’s standard for repentance? Will you pretend to be festive this holiday season while the sword of the Lord is at this nation’s throat? God detests our holidays, for we eat and drink excessively, celebrating lies, while innocent blood flows in our streets and injustice reigns in our courts. This will be my family’s third consecutive Thanksgiving spent in a state of repentance, because we turned ourselves over to the Lord wholeheartedly. We have put aside earthly pleasures and finery for sackcloth and ashes. I urge you to do the same, otherwise, on account of His compassion for your soul, the Lord will reduce you by force.
“Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts my soul hates. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.” —Isaiah 1:14
As I stood firm in my testimony to those women, the elder of them said, “I agree that we are to be God’s witnesses, but only for those He puts in our path.”
“God has put your elected officials who preside over your community in your path,” I replied. “And since it takes little more than a phone call to make your voice heard, you have no excuse not to witness to them.”
Brothers and sisters, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I charge you with the same, and do so urgently, because time is running out. Yet I also warn you not to barter with the enemy. God will accept nothing less than the restoration of the sanctity of all innocent human life from conception to natural death—no exceptions. Any attempt to preserve unity and prosperity by making worldly compromises will result in division, death and destruction.
Restoration begins with awakening, it proceeds with courage, it becomes reality through faith. In the Name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
