Dear Survivalists,
Do you have every item in storage that you could possibly need to get you through any crisis? I wouldn’t be so sure:

Even if you have thousands of rounds of ammunition or an entire larder of food to last you 20 years...odds are at some point, an unforeseen circumstance will catch you completely off-guard and you will need something that someone else has.

The way I see it, you have three options:
1. Do without and scrounge in the streets like a mongrel dog, begging for what you need.
2. Become a crazed looter that threatens families for scraps and robs innocent people.
3. Learn how to deftly maneuver yourself in and around bartering negotiations to get what you need.
To most people, option three is obviously a no brainer but ask yourself, “Do I have the skill to enter into a negotiation and come out on top?"

Bullets run out, food spoils and medical supplies go quick. You need to be sure that you know how to negotiate a deal during a crisis in order to get what you desperately need.
Regardless of how much you think you have done to prepare yourself, you absolutely MUST have the tact and skill to barter and negotiate with desperate people.

P.S. You don't even need to wait for a real crisis to occur in order to master your negotiating skills. Think of how much money you could save on your next car or piece of furniture if you just knew how to approach the salesman and properly negotiate with them.
