"To an ordinary guy, all this is a bunch of gobbledygook. But out of the gobbledygook comes a very clear thing: you can't trust the government; you can't believe what they say; and you can't rely on their judgment.  And the implicit infallibility of presidents, which has been an accepted thing in America, is badly hurt by this, because it shows that people do things the President wants to do even though it's wrong, and the President can be wrong."
H. R. Halderman describing Watergate to President Nixon

NOTE:  This article is not for the faint of heart, the shy, the fearful, or the squeamish.  If you are beset by one or more of these maladies, we strongly suggest you stop right here.  Nevertheless, what we say here is burning hotly in the minds of many Americans after the shooting in Aurora, CO on Friday, July 20th, 2012.  If you do read it and you get the sense that we are angry, you are very perceptive.

It never fails.  Someone goes berserk with a gun and the liberals can't wait to scream more GUN CONTROL and can't wait to blame those radical right wing tea party types who "cling to their guns and their bibles" for the crime.   ABC's Brian Ross was salivating over being able to tie the Aurora, CO shooter to the Colorado Tea Party ..... falsely of course.  It fit their blatant liberal agenda.  Their apology had all the effect of telling jurors to ignore what they just heard in a trial.  Even Bill O'Reilly, the self-proclaimed self-righteous conscience for all Americans, has jumped on the gun- control bandwagon and browbeat a congressman over the issue on O'Reilly's July 24th, 2012 program.  Hell hath no fury than an O'Reilly scorned.  Humble correspondent?  No spin?  Hardly!  Arrogant?  Definitely!

In the Tucson shooting where Arizona Representative Gabby Gifford was shot in the head and almost died, the local sheriff drooled at the prospects of blaming conservatives for the vicious act of a mentally deranged mad man, virtually minutes after the shooting.  More liberals piled on shortly thereafter until president Obama called for civility.  The civility lasted for about two days before the liberals returned to their old tricks of calling conservatives racists, homophobes, radicals, crazies, right-wing religious nuts, gun obsessed and other names we can't repeat here.

Please!  Please!  We are not demeaning what happened to the dead, injured and dying from the Theatre 9 showing of the new Batman Movie in Aurora on July 20th, 2012, or the shooting in Tucson.  Both acts were beyond heinous and perpetrated by mad men.  Our hearts, minds, prayers and attention should be with and for the victims.  However, if we were dispensing justice for this crime, we would decree that a suitable punishment would be for each victim or relative of a dead victim, to extract a small bit of flesh from the live carcass of the shooter, as he screamed in agony until the pain drove him insane (if he isn't already) and he finally succumbed to his injuries.  If this punishment were carried out in public, as horrendous as the punishment would be, there would be a lot less mass shootings, or other crimes in America.

But alas, we are a civil society and such acts of revenge are beneath us.  We are a nation of laws, not vengeance ..... right?  Having said that, keep in mind that if the shooter is given the death penalty, he will languish in prison at the taxpayer's expense for 12 to 15 years before the death sentence is carried out, that is unless the liberal bleeding hearts try to stop the execution with legal mal-practice.  The cost for the state to defend against the no-death-penalty crowd will be in the millions of dollars.  These bleeding hearts callously ignore the cries of the victims for justice and closure.  Or, the shooter could receive life in prison and the taxpayers will have to pay to keep this crazed slime alive for the rest of his natural born life ..... possibly for 60 to 70 years.  (he's only 24 - estimated cost for 60 years at $50,000 per year is $3 million, today's dollars)  From a cost perspective, a gallows and a rope would be a lot cheaper and quicker than housing a prisoner for 60 years.  Remember!  They receive the best "free" health care in those prisons ..... lots of exercise, counseling, good food, TV, libraries, telephone privileges, computers, etc.

AND WE CALL THIS JUSTICE?  LIKE HELL IT IS!

We shoot mad dogs or rabid animals ..... don't we?  What's the difference between a mad dog and the Aurora shooter?  Oh, that's right, the mad dog doesn't have two rifles, a pistol and tear gas canisters.  Right now ladies and gentlemen we are feeling like a victim and we don't feel very civil or have any sympathy for the mad dog shooter and we are sure many of you don't feel very civil either, even though our religious faith taps us on the shoulder and whispers, "vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord".  So we ask, where was the Lord's vengeance in stopping the shooter before he did the crime?  What if you were one of those victims or a loved one of one of those victims?  How would you feel?  You would want to get "even" but instead your "even" is left up to a corrupt judicial system that seldom meets out justice and has more sympathy and gives more weight to the rights of the criminal than the victim or victims.

Ladies and gentlemen, we know we will receive much criticism for saying this, but maybe, just maybe, if every law abiding, sane person or family in America had an AK-47 in their house and were trained to use it when the criminal showed up, or when a government grew more arrogant and oppressive and conveniently forgot the limits placed upon it by the Supreme Law of the Land, there would be a whole lot less crime and government wouldn't be so anxious to exceed its constitutional limits.  Our Declaration of Independence calls out for us to do so in such an event, in order that liberty is preserved.   No!  We are not calling for, nor do we advocate, an armed revolution against the government.  We still have more peaceful and legal means available to us to undo a corrupt government.

But getting back to the Aurora shooting, if just one well trained person with a handgun had been in that Aurora theater that Friday night, or the Mall in Tucson, AZ, he or she could have stopped the shooter in seconds and reduced the carnage to a few victims.  We don't need fewer guns.  We need more, well-trained armed citizens who have the courage to go into action, when action is demanded of them.

"Switzerland does not have a standing army, instead opting for a peoples Militia to defend their country. The vast majority of men between the ages of 20 and 30 are conscripted into the militia and undergo military training, including weapons training. Due to this fact, the personal weapon of militia is kept at home as part of the military obligations. Switzerland has one of the highest militia gun ownership rates in the world."

Here is a table of intentional homicide rates per 100,000 population by year, from 2000 to 2010, in the U. S. and Switzerland (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate)

Could this significant difference in intentional homicide rates have to do with gun training and ownership?  You decide.  Be sure to watch this video on Switzerland's mandatory gun policy for its civilian population at the following link.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaxOZ-fbe6M

And Barack and Hillary better keep their cotton pickin' signature pens off the UN's Small Arms Treaty.  The Congress has made it clear that it won't get ratified anyway, so why bother signing it ..... unless of course you are not a true American.

But ladies and gentlemen, we as Americans don't have to lay down and play dead for these liberal government shenanigans and the gobbledygook they hand out.  We're not pawns, we're not victims, we are proud Americans.  We have strength, power, prowess, backbone and skills.  It's high time we showed it by standing up to the injustices our corrupt system of government has allowed to grow, especially our corrupt criminal justice system.

Informed Americans grow weary of a justice system that is way too slow in administering justice and delivering justice that isn't justice at all.  A New York judge just gave a pedophile a two-year sentence for raping and sodomizing two young boys for five years.  The boy's lives are ruined, probably for life.   The judge's decision is not justice, it was a grossly negligent act at best and a criminal act at worst.  Punishments like this from the New York judge are rife in our criminal justice system, throughout America.  Leniency on rapists, murders and thieves is not a deterrent to crime and that is what punishment for crime is supposed to be.  And American justice is anything but swift.  The Fort Hood terrorist (Hasan) hasn't been brought to trial and the crime was committed in November of 2009, almost 3 years ago.

Informed Americans grow weary of liberals twisting events to fit their radical, social justice agenda.  Americans grow weary of liberals taking our tax money by force of law and parceling it out to the free loaders for their votes so that liberals can remain in power.  Americans grow weary of liberals not adequately protecting our borders and going soft on illegal aliens and granting them amnesty by executive order, or suing states who dare to do what the federal government won't or refuses to do, or suing states that have the legitimate duty to clean up their voter rolls, or suing states that require appropriate ID for voters.

Informed Americans grow weary of liberal education in both K-12 and our colleges, that administer heavy doses of liberalism, collectivism, multi-culturalism, radical environmentalism and globalism and then has the gall to call it education when it is nothing more than blatant, government-sponsored propaganda.  They grow weary of a government that nationalizes businesses and our health care system and rewards unions with our money to assure the free flow of union money to the liberal cause.  Americans grow weary of crony capitalism where billions of our tax dollars are given to businesses with failing business models, to reward political "friends", or to further a radical environmental agenda.  Americans grow weary of this scientifically unproven radical environmental man-caused global warming scheme to pilfer more taxes (cap and trade by bureaucratic rule) from the producing sector of our population, that is more about wealth re-distribution than saving us from the unsubstantiated scourge of gasp!, "climate change".

In short ladies and gentlemen, free and wise Americans should be, if they aren't already, sick and tired of the self-righteous gobbledygook being dished out by the educated idiots and the self-anointed elite who call themselves liberals, on welfare, health care, taxes, draconian regulations, illegal aliens, foreign affairs, gun control, the environment, veterans, gutting our military and a whole host of other issues that are, by all definitions, anti-American, unconstitutional, anti-free markets and anti-capitalism.  Liberals embrace collectivism, multi-culturalism, open borders, radical environmentalism, globalism and the one world order and they besmirch individualism and our individual, unalienable rights.  They demean America and tear her down.  They try to make us feel guilty about our exceptionalism, our technology, our wealth, our resources and our standard of living.  By making us feel guilty they induce us into accepting higher taxes to fund unsustainable government programs that are driving us over a cliff into national bankruptcy, or passing laws or issuing executive orders that are anti-American, anti-individual and unconstitutional.

As H. R. Halderman said to Nixon about Watergate:

"To an ordinary guy, all this is a bunch of gobbledygook. But out of the gobbledygook comes a very clear thing: you can't trust the government; you can't believe what they say; and you can't rely on their judgment.  And the implicit infallibility of presidents, which has been an accepted thing in America, is badly hurt by this, because it shows that people do things the President wants to do even though it's wrong, and the President can be wrong."

Obama, his administration and the liberal philosophy are the embodiment of what Halderman told Nixon.  We can't trust them; we can't believe what they say and we can't rely on their judgment.  Obama says you didn't create your business without government help.  He says women can't make it on their own without government help.  He says his policies are working, when they clearly aren't.  He says small businesses are doing just fine under his watch, which they aren't.  Obama is the epitome of government gobbledygook and is an accomplished, if not pathological liar.

But liberals today are beginning to run scared.  Obama is becoming thin skinned and unraveling.  Something different and unique is happening in America that could just turn over the liberal's well-established "Apple Cart" and they aren't taking it well.   Some Americans are finally wising up to the liberal's covert scheme to convert America and Americans into dependent, compliant zombies who will do everything government wants them to do without question or resistance.  As their fear rises they resort to vilifying and degrading their opponents, instead of debating the issues and differences between our two opposing ideologies.   They and their ideology have held sway for almost a century and the damage they have done to America and American freedom is immeasurable.  But that false ideology, including their ill-conceived Keynesian economic plan .....

regarding the failure of Keynesian economics, we encourage you to read the excellent article by David Galland "The Room" at:

..... are coming under severe criticism as being a failed model for government.  "The Parallax Prophecies" predicts that as long as liberalism and progressivism are the prevailing mindset in America, America cannot survive as a free state.  If however, we can increase the number of knowledgeable and involved Americans to a percentage that can override the liberal mindset, America might just have a chance.  The election in November of 2012 will give an indication on which direction the prevailing American mindset will take us ..... the old failed, liberal mindset, or the new nothing-but-freedom-or-else, mindset.

What is needed is a "purge", a purge of corrupt politicians, judges and bureaucrats and a purge of ill-conceived, unsustainable government programs.  If we can't vote them out, maybe we can expose their corruption and get them to resign or send them to jail.  There is much more corruption in politics than anyone thinks.  In fact, corruption has become institutionalized, as it always does when the people won't hold their representatives accountable.  ORDCA could be the lever to institute that purge?  We will provide more details on ORDCA in a later column.
