CHEERS FOR THE BSA! THEIR PLEDGE SAYS IT ALL

Dear Conservatives,

Today the Boy Scouts of America have defiantly rejected the Homosexual Agenda!

Despite the widespread pressure brought to bear on the Scouts by the Homosexual Lobby, they have refused to cave in.

They have announced once and for all that they will never allow homosexuals to serve as leaders of the young scouts.

This is a particularly proud victory for me since Public Advocate has fought by the Boy Scouts’ side for over a decade.

When the Scouts were forced to defend themselves before the U.S. Supreme Court, hundreds of thousands of Public Advocate supporters signed Amicus Brief cover-letters in their support.

And I believe that our support made a crucial difference.

But now the attacks are coming from the inside.

A member of their own board, James Turley, tried to force the Boy Scouts to include homosexual scout masters.

And a former den mother is running an online petition through the ultra-radical website Change.org, attacking the Scouts over her homosexual lifestyle.

However they have not backed down.

In early June, the Scouts announced that Mr. Turley’s proposal had been considered and unanimously rejected.

And this week, they went even further.

They announced that after an exhaustive two year study, they are ready to reaffirm their commitment to family values and to close this matter once in for all.

A major point in their decision making came from the opinions of parents involved in the Scouts -- parents who overwhelmingly want the Scouts to remain free of homosexual leaders.

But this fight isn’t over.

Just this morning the Change.org petitions were delivered in an attempt to reverse the Scouts' decision.

And Turley, who is the CEO of the pro-homosexual corporation Ernst and Young, is still on the board.

There is even a strong chance that Randall Stephenson, CEO of AT&T, will soon serve as the president of the Boy Scouts of America.  AT&T is well known as a major proponent of the Homosexual Agenda.

This fight is not over yet.

But at least for today, the Scouts are safe.

That’s why I would like you to take a minute to call the Boy Scouts' national headquarters and thank them for their decision to stand by traditional values.

It’s important that all allies of the Family stand strong together.

Sincerely,

Eugene Delgaudio
President, Public Advocate of the United States

P.S. Please prayerfully consider chipping in with a donation of $10 or more to help Public Advocate fight for traditional values.
