AMNESTY ADDS TO ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS FOR AMERICAN JOB SEEKERS
Barack Obama’s recent announcement of halting all deportations for illegal immigrants under 30-years-old who were illegally brought to the United States by their parents or other relatives will have a devastating impact on Americans’ seeking work. New numbers reveal that Obama’s amnesty announcement will flood the job market with one to two million illegal immigrants with LEGAL work permits to compete with U.S. Citizens for scarce jobs. The Obama administration announced last week that it is granting two-year work permits and indefinitely renewable legal status to at least 1.4 million qualifying illegal immigrants. That’s not to mention another three-quarters of a million illegal immigrant high school drop-outs who could also get the work permits (and deportation waivers) if they start working on a high-school degree.
