But we, as grassroots American citizens and people who hold to a higher standard of law, MUST do the right thing and never fail to challenge those who undermine the rule of law. This is a very serious charge and is a significant step toward Congress issuing a formal citation. Things are heating up!   Leftist obstructionists, such as ranking Democrat committee member Elijah Cummings, are also intensifying their support of Holder, derisively calling Issa’s actions a “witch hunt.”   In light of Chairman Issa’s increasing pressure on Eric Holder, we must also keep pressure on the House committee to not cave in to arm-twisting from the administration.  We simply cannot allow ANY political considerations to deter the “Fast and Furious” investigation! Unfortunately, the “Fast and Furious” debacle is just ONE instance of gross mismanagement out of MANY that justifies our call for Eric Holder’s forced resignation, firing, or impeachment! ++“Tainted institutional integrity of the Justice Department.” In circulating the contempt citation draft, Chairman Issa wrote… “Operation Fast and Furious’ outrageous tactics, the Justice Department's refusal to fully cooperate with the investigation and efforts to smear and retaliate against whistleblowers have tainted the institutional integrity of the Justice Department.” In his three-plus years in the Obama administration, Eric Holder HAS tainted the DOJ and proven himself to be a disgrace to the office of Attorney General of the United States. His tenure has been rife with scandals, deception, racial favoritism, cover-ups, doublespeak, assertion of Leftist ideology, and outright dereliction in his duties as head of the Department of Justice. For instance, Holder’s DOJ brought frivolous charges against a pro-life woman, defended by our sister organization, Liberty Counsel, which were ultimately dropped after the presiding judge wrote, “The Court is at a loss as to why the government chose to prosecute this case in the first place.”    When Eric Holder should be prosecuting terrorists, he is wasting time manufacturing baseless lawsuits against law-abiding, pro-life Americans and engaging in other politically-inspired campaigns against pro-liberty, pro-family citizens! Such actions by the Attorney General are abuses of power and examples of intolerably misplaced priorities. I believe Eric Holder’s tenure as Attorney General will prove to be among the most corrupt in our nation’s history.
