CONGRESS MUST STOP SPENDING - IT MUST!!!

Congress’ Annual Hide-The-Spending Ritual UnderwayEvery year, the House passes a budget (the same cannot be said for the Senate). After the budget passes, the House then sets about passing 12 appropriations bills. Each appropriations bill must adhere to the spending caps passed in the budget. But every year, Congress amends these bills to increase spending. Just last week the first of the 12 appropriations bills came to the floor. The Commerce, Justice and Science (CJS) appropriations bill passed by a vote of 247-163. Unfortunately, it represented a missed opportunity for conservatives to really cut spending and prove to the American people that they are serious about cutting government waste.Read More
