THE LEFT WANTS ILLEGAL VOTERS NO MATTER THE PRICE!

LEFT PLANS ASSAULT ON STATE SOVEREIGNTY AS SUPREME COURT JUSTICES SIGNAL SUPPORT FOR ARIZONA!
Seeing the writing on the wall, the Leftwing led by Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) is gearing up to pass legislation that will leave states DEFENSELESS against illegal immigration despite whatever decision is made by the Supreme Court.

Liberal AND conservative Supreme Court justices on Wednesday strongly signaled their support for letting Arizona enforce its legislative crackdown on illegal immigration astonishing the Leftwing across America, including the one and only Barack Hussein Obama. The justices expressed serious doubts regarding the Obama administration’s claim that Arizona overreached into federal territory by requiring state law enforcement officials to verify a person’s legal status when they’re stopped on suspicion of committing a separate offense.


Obama-appointee Justice Sonia Sotomayor – the first Hispanic woman to be seated on the bench – even told Solicitor General Donald Verrilli, “You can see it’s not selling very well” and “I’m terribly confused by your answer.”
Chief Justice John Roberts, according to the Washington Post, asked Verrilli “what could possibly be wrong” with Arizona officers checking the legal status of a detained person and passing that information on to the federal government leaving the decision whether or not to pursue deportation up to the feds, which is incredulous considering it is their job to uphold existing federal immigration LAW, not to pick and choose whether or not to deport regardless of available resources.

While the Supreme Court cannot force the feds to support the laws unless they are brought before them via suit, WE can hold every elected official accountable to the American people– not the estimated 12 MILLION illegal immigrants draining public resources and stealing our jobs. But we must do it TOGETHER by flooding every office on Capitol Hill and in all 50 states with blast faxes demanding they stand up for state sovereignty and the enforcement of immigration law.

According to Politico, Justice Antonin Scalia, who particularly seemed in favor of Arizona’s SB 1070, asked at one point, “What does sovereignty mean if it does not include the authority to defend your borders?”

The justices express far greater concerns with other portions of Arizona’s SB 1070 against illegal immigration, a law that inspired similar legislative crackdowns across the nation in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Utah and Indiana. In fact, we’re already seeing signs of a piecemeal Supreme Court victory for Arizona and other states battling illegal immigration particularly regarding Arizona’s laws that impose criminal penalties on illegal immigrants who seek work and on the employers that hire them.


Paul D. Clement, the former Bush administration solicitor general who is representing Arizona acknowledged Wednesday that while the federal government places the burden on employers with illegal workers but said that did not mean states could not impose their own sanctions on employees.

But the battle is far from over.

Unlike in the ObamaCare hearing earlier this month, Justice Elena Kagan recused herself from the case due to her past involvement with it as Obama’s solicitor general. This leaves wide open the possibility of a 4-4 deadlock.  If such a split were to happen, the previous appeals court decision would stand and Arizona’s SB 1070 would NOT take effect. Even in the event that the Supreme Court rules in favor of Arizona upholding SB 1070, the Left is already taking measures to stop the enforcement of immigration laws.

Right now, the Senate Democrats are making plans to force a floor vote on legislation that would invalidate ALL state-level crackdowns on illegal immigration if the Supreme Court upholds the law this summer.


Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-NY) announced on Tuesday, his party’s plans for the fallback legislation to strip states of their sovereignty in order to undermine the enforcement of immigration law.

Schumer, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on immigration, said in an interview that “If the court upholds the Arizona law, Congress can make it clear that what Arizona is doing goes beyond what the federal government and what Congress ever intended.”

The bill would also bar states from imposing their own penalties beyond federal sanctions. Of course, the Left’s back-up plan is political – not practical. And of course, it is NOT in America’s best interest. Instead, Schumer’s anti-Arizona agenda is solely for the campaign interests of Barack Obama as it will allow the Left to rally Latino voters, with whom the immigration law is largely unpopular, just as the presidential campaign enters the final stretch this summer. According to the latest NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll, Hispanic voters favor Obama by more than 40 points - a margin the Campaigner-in-Chief cannot afford to lose.


Schumer’s bill, if shoved down our throats by the Left, will purposely involve Big Brother Obama in states’ law-making by requiring federal approval for new state immigration laws, essentially blocking implementation of Arizona’s law and others like it passed in other states.

We can all easily guess how likely laws cracking down on illegal immigration are to gain approval under the Obama administration, the same administration that granted backdoor amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants through “prosecutorial discretion” in the enforcement of federal immigration laws and the same administration enforcing the failed DREAM Act on America.

Make no mistake: The Supreme Court's decision will determine whether or not our country has a future.
