Dear Conservatives,
President Obama is attacking AFP again—and we’re still counting on you to help us fight back.
First, his campaign dedicated an entire TV ad to making baseless claims about AFP simply because we chose to let Americans know about the more than $500 million in taxpayer dollars he wasted on a failing green energy company.
And then last week, President Obama’s reelection campaign started circulating an online petition to demand that AFP release private personal information about our activists and donors.
President Obama still seems to think that, if you don’t agree with him, it’s because you’re a millionaire who wants to destroy America for personal gain.
Lee, you and I know very well that AFP activists are some of the most patriotic folks around. Our 1.9 million activists are hard-working, middle-class Americans who just want to save America from the high-tax, reckless-spending vision that President Obama has for our nation.
And, with over 90,000 individual donors, AFP is truly dependent on the generosity of activists like you. But we simply can’t continue to win more policy fights without your help.
Can I count on your support to help AFP make the biggest impact in Washington—and across the nation?
Please click here to contribute $5 or $10—or whatever you can afford right now—to help us stop wasteful spending and out-of-control government, and help put the American people back in charge.
Lee, time and time again, AFP has been the most successful group in the fight for economic freedom. That’s why President Obama called AFP the Left’s “biggest problem” back in 2010. And that’s why he’s attacking AFP again in 2012.
I don’t usually agree with President Obama, but I will on this: he and his big government allies in Washington have every reason to be concerned about the massive impact AFP activists will have this year.
Already in 2012, we’ve hosted 1,200 activists in Michigan for our “Prosperity Forum” last month and helped defeat a ridiculous new tax subsidy in Kansas, in a come-from-behind victory against the Left’s crony politics.
And, on March 27, AFP is going to host a thousands-strong “Hands of My Health Care” rally on the steps of Capitol Hill. Grassroots Americans are going to show Obama and his allies on the Left that we won’t let the American people forget about how his policies have left us worse off than before.
And as the father of four teenagers, I know how important winning this fight is to the future of our nation. It’s a question of sticking our children and grandchildren with an America where our best days are already behind us—or about restoring fiscal sanity, before it’s too late.
But we can’t continue to win the fight against President Obama’s disastrous policy agenda without your help today.
Please click here to send $5 or $10—or whatever you can afford right now—to Americans for Prosperity.
Lee, thank you for your critical help with the grassroots victories we’ve celebrated over the last three years. And with your help today, I’m confident we will win the fight for economic freedom once and for all.
Sincerely,
Tim Phillips, President
Americans for Prosperity
P.S. While President Obama is trying to distract from his disastrous policy agenda with baseless attacks against AFP, we need your help to win the fight for economic freedom. Click here to contribute $5, $10, or $25 to AFP to help us expand our fight against Obama’s politics-as-usual—and restore economic freedom to America.
