NOW WE CAN SEE THE ILLEGAL ALIENS AS THEY ARRIVE - YIPPEE

MORE PREDATOR DRONES TO PATROL U.S.-MEXICO BORDER

Federal law enforcement authorities are rapidly expanding a military-style unmanned aerial patrol along the U.S.-Mexico border as part of a new, high-tech effort to better secure the border. Fans of the Predators say the $20 million aircraft keep a watchful eye on the border, especially over terrain inaccessible to human or vehicle patrol. Critics argue however that the “finicky toys” have done little to stem the flow of illegal immigrants, drug smugglers or terrorists and invites Big Brother into the private back yards of Americans living along the southern border.

Eight Predators currently fly for the Customs and Border Protection agency with more than half patrolling the southern border. Planning documents for the CBP are optimistic that as many as 24 Predators will be in the air by 2016, giving the agency the ability to deploy a drone anywhere over the continental U.S. within three hours.
