BORDER NEEDS BOOTS ON THE GROUND
UNDEFENDED BORDER IMPERILS AMERICA
Illegal aliens are climbing over, digging under and even tearing down the border fence between Mexico and the United States. If we mean to truly protect our borders, we need more boots on the ground – and the political will to enforce our immigration laws.

Remember the children's song about overcoming obstacles – "Can't go through it, can't go around it, gotta go OVER it?" That is exactly what illegal intruders and the drug cartels are doing on a daily basis. As the open border politicians love to quip, "all an unmanned 14 foot fence will do is cause a spike in the sales of 15 foot ladders."

Minutemen know Republicans want our votes, and there can be no confusion over what Americans concerned about Border Securitydemand of our elected officials and politicians:
- NO AMNESTY
- SECURE BORDER, PHYSICAL BARRIERS – THIS MEANS A FENCE
- ARMED BOOTS ON THE GROUND
- ENFORCEMENT OF FEDERAL IMMIGRATION AND EMPLOYMENT LAW
- USCIS (INS) AND DOJ REFORM
Some candidates for high federal office – including for president – seem to believe thatAmerica's blood-soaked border and illegal immigration enforcement crisis do not pose a vital national security threat. Some seem to want to capitulate to its effects, as it is a problem just too big and messy to solve. They therefore think that the only feasible solution is accommodation – since things have seemingly gotten so far beyond the point of remedy.
Even the sheer size of our borders causes some politicos to conclude that America is indefensible against rampant invasion, incursion, and illicit trafficking – and that the steady flow of illegal aliens is thus unstoppable.

The MCDC Project plan for achieving this goal is much the same as that called for by the "Norwood" staff report by the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, which sent a team of independent investigators to study the effects of the original Minuteman Project in April, 2005.
As a result of their study, the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus observation team issued a number of workable recommendations. Among the team's findings are:
- Reasonable manpower increases will immediately curtail rampant illegal immigration.
- Observational reinforcements can be oriented and deployed in days.
- 36,000 reinforcements would effectively seal our southern border.
- Reinforcements are available from existing reserves.
- The Defense Authorization Act of 2005 provided specific legal authority for the Governors and the Secretary of Defense to immediately implement this plan with full federal funding.
- Long-term solutions: Border security should remain a federal responsibility, consistent with the Constitution.
- BUILD THE FENCE authorized under the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
But with the Obama administration in control, the peril to national security remains high. Speaking to the National Council of La Raza in July 2011, Obama said: "I know some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own and, believe me, right now dealing with Congress, the idea of doing things on my own is very tempting…"
OBAMA ISN'T JUST TEMPTED – HE IS BYPASSING CONGRESS AND THE CONSTITUTION EVERY DAY!
WE MUST FIGHT BACK! WE MUST REVIVE THE MINUTEMAN SPIRIT!!
Sincerely Yours For America,

P.S. Please, remember what is at stake – the security, the safety, the sovereignty, the prosperity – very possibly the very survival of not just Americans along our increasingly embattled border, but America herself.
