OBAMA'S ILLEGAL ALIEN LIES FURTHERED - TIDE OF ILLEGAL ALIENSD HAS RISEN NOT ABATED

NYC Mayor Bloomberg needs a reality check
...and a fact-checker

Fellow Patriot,
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg drank the Kool-Aid, folks.

Last Wednesday, Bloomberg sat down for an interview with CNN’s John King to promote his open borders vision for America. And guess what – his vision was far from reality.

During the interview, Mayor Bloomberg followed Homeland Security Janet Napolitano’s Obama-approved talking points and other bold-faced lies by telling viewers that those who report illegal aliens are still coming across the border are not telling the truth.

He then went on to say only “the minimus number of people” (we’re not sure how many that is either) are crossing and even suggested that the reduced number of illegal entries are hurting America.

Really?

While CNN’s John King claimed the Tea Partiers say illegal immigrants are still flocking to the U.S., “by the tens of thousands,” the U.S. government claims the actual number is much higher despite Obama’s attempts to subvert the numbers with smoke and mirrors.

According to the Border Patrol’s own data, between 1987 and 2005, the average annual number of those arrested at the U.S./Mexican border for illegally crossing was roughly 1.3 million, with arrests peaking at 1.6 million in 2000.

Between 2006 and 2010, that number has dropped. The average annual number for apprehensions was about 650,000.

Keep in mind, however, that for every one illegal immigrant caught at the border, it’s estimated that another seven or even ten successfully enter the U.S. invading our neighborhoods and draining our economy.

Former president of the National Border Patrol Council, T.J. Bonner, said efforts to stop illegal immigration at the wide-open border was like “shoveling sand against the tide” with only a 33% success rate.

Using Bonner’s conservative estimate, at least 41.8 million illegal aliens have entered the U.S. since the 1986 amnesty.

But Bloomberg doesn’t care and definitely won’t be letting the hard facts get in the way of his open borders agenda, even when that agenda hurts the citizens he has sworn to protect.

Of course, under his leadership, New York City has become more welcoming to illegal immigrants than it is to the grandchildren of the millions of legal immigrants.

Since becoming mayor, Michael Bloomberg has devoted much of his time and the city’s resources to lobbying for the rights of illegal immigrants and trying to convince law-abiding U.S. citizens that we desperately need millions of the disrespectful, law-breaking criminals.

In 2003, Bloomberg signed Executive Order 41, which protects the privacy of illegal immigrants and grants them access to all city services. It also bars police and all other city employees from checking immigration status.

In December 2007, he even said that New York City’s economy “would collapse if they were deported.”

And what’s been the effect of Bloomberg’s sanctuary policy?

In 2007, illegal immigrants accounted for 10 percent of the city’s total workforce.

Illegal immigrants also have a labor force participation rate of 70 percent – higher than that of citizens AND legal residents.

According to U.S. Census data, Mexican immigrants (legal and illegal) are more likely to have a job than those who were born in New York City.

And the cherry on top – the current unemployment rate of Mexican illegal immigrants in New York City is only around four percent.  New York City’s overall unemployment rate is 8.7 percent.

Perhaps, Bloomberg should quit repeating the Obama administration’s talking points and hire a fact-checker.
Patriots, we cannot let open-border politicians blindside your fellow Americans with despicable lies and continue passing dangerous, job-killing, illegal-immigrant harboring legislation.

But the only way we can stop these career politicians is with your help and continuing support.

We  must stop pro-amnesty politicians from endangering America and our future.

For America,
Minuteman PAC
