SENATE ADDICTED TO SPENDING - RID CONGRESS OF HABITUAL SPENDERS

DC Spending Addiction: More Proof
CONSERVATIVES,
Last night, a majority of U.S. Senators voted to give FEMA an extra $1 billion the agency said it didn't need.
We're nearly $15 trillion in debt and public confidence in Congress is near record lows. No wonder why: 54 Senators voted to give FEMA an unnecessary $1 billion and add an additional $1 billion to our debt. Fortunately, the measure failed the necessary 60 vote threshold and the funding was removed from the bill that eventually passed.
>>Learn more: did your Senators vote for reckless, unnecessary spending?
Our country is in a fiscal crisis and these 54 Senators voted to blindly allocate money that isn't needed. These Senators proved the problem with Washington today: an addiction to spending.
We need conservatives like you to continue fighting for responsible government and fiscal conservatism. Together we can make a difference.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Needham
