Don’t think for one minute that Turkey's intervention is about democracy!
Turkey is predominantly Sunni, while Bashar Assad is a Shiite.
But the almost-dead broke Western powers are itching for a fight, claiming they want democracy.
A little known fact is that Syria under Assad has been Christian friendly. In fact, the Syrian government supplied cement to groups that wanted to build churches.
Mark my words: WHENEVER Western powers, be it the US or the EU, NATO or a European leader decides to support a Middle Eastern rebellion, the result is and always will be a deterioration of the situation of the indigenous Christian population, whose situation always has been grim to tenuous, not to mention less security for Israel.
Things are coming to a head. I am trying hard not to see a buildup to Armageddon here. But the signs are so hard to ignore.
