There are two kinds of immigrants: the ones who come to the country on a legal way (because they love the country, the way of life, the rules, the laws, the rights people have - but also the duties, etc.), integrate, assimilate and contribute to the society - and the others (and there are several kinds of immigrants in this group: illegals, those who want to change the country, etc)....
"True Americans" welcome the first category of immigrants, Liberals/Leftists would like to see Millions of the other category and that's worldwide the same problem. Here is a quotation: Daniel Cohn-Bendit (I call him Cohn BANDIT), a politician of the German Green Party (=leftists), said (and there are a lot of Leftist -greens, socialists, communists- who said something similar or even wrote something in this line in their books, e.g. the former German Secretary of State Joseph Fischer, Green Party, radical street fighter in the late 60ies, early 70ies, thief, supporter of the RAF, etc.):
" We, the Green Party, must take care to bring as many foreigners as possible to Germany. When they are in Germany,we must fight for their right to vote. When we accomplished this goal, we have the votes we need to change this Republic!"
Leftists want to "import" votes and they get votes by bringing people in, who belong to the second category and are more than happy, if BIG Government takes care of them (housing, welfare, etc.). Modern slavery....
