A member of the United States Senate just launched one
of the most outrageous and unfounded attacks against
conservative women that we have seen. Please see Penny

Conservatives,
Shocked. Outraged. Angry.
That is the range of emotions I felt when I learned of
Senator John Tester's (D-Montana) vicious and slanderous
attack against Concerned Women for America.
After finding he was featured in our popular Spenditol ad
that humorously highlights Washington's out-of-control
spending addiction, the Montana senator went on the warpath
against CWA in an outlandish effort to fundraise (and he
really got his facts wrong because he attacked CWA when in
actuality our Legislative Action Committee, CWALAC, had
paid for the ad).
Tester's campaign blasted in an email claiming that CWA
opposes laws against child pornography!
For more than 32 years, CWA has led the way as
a leading advocate for children and families in America. Our
efforts have literally blazed the trail in educating against
the evils of child pornography, obscenity and indecency.
Tester's unfounded attack was also deeply personal since I
was a victim of an attempted sexual attack by a suspected
pornography addict while pregnant with my daughter.
But as despicable as the senator's attack is, I suppose we
shouldn't be surprised by these kinds of unfounded
accusations against CWA and our distinctly pro-faith,
pro-family efforts -- especially given the climate of
today's America.
Liberal extremists are eager to dismantle and destroy the
family fabric here because it runs counter to their agenda.
If they can successfully undermine our efforts to promote
and preserve faith and family in America they will remove
the last hurdle to fully implementing their radically-
charged agenda!
This is much more than accusing CWA of not protecting
children. This is much more than an attack on the
character of our organization .
This is an attack on American values -- the very values
you and I both cherish and want to impart to our
children and grandchildren.
That's why we have no choice but to fight back and demand
that Senator Tester retract his slanderous words which are
a direct assault not only on CWA but every concerned woman
we represent nationwide.
That's why I'm turning to you today.
My staff has already initiated an aggressive grassroots
and media campaign to expose Senator Tester's lies and ensure
that the truth about CWA's pro-family agenda is preserved.
We simply do not have a special line
item in our budget to pay for attacks such as this.
When these attacks happen, we turn to friends like

critical time of need.
