SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN E VERIFY

Alert! The SAVE Act would expand E-Verify, and control immigration! Representative Heath Shuler (D-NC) and Senator Mark Pryor (D-AR) have reintroduced the SAVE Act, an important, bi-partisan attempt to remedy our immigration crisis. The Secure America with Verification andEnforcement Act, HR 2000, focuses on the heart of the problem—the jobs that attract illegal immigrants.  Unlike "comprehensive" immigration bills that offer some gift-wrapping around an amnesty package, this far-reaching bill starts with the heart of the problem—the jobs that attract illegal immigrants. It would phase in a requirement for every employer to use the E-Verify system on all employees, not just new hires.
