Two and a half centuries ago our divinely inspired forefathers drafted a document that would provide the framework for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Their words would be brought to life at a great sacrifice. Although tears of sadness would be shed for the great loss of life, tears of joy would ultimately follow because they could now, reach their hands into the soil and say, "This does not belong to a distant king, this belongs to me." We must remember that even though the dawn of a "New America" was in the making, that it did not come without fierce opposition from all sides of the aisle.
One can't help but wonder how many long nights Washington, Adams, Jefferson and our other founders spent on their knees, pleading for a answer that would work best for the people. They were eventually given their answer when our Constitution was written in heaven and thanks to this body of trustworthy and principled men, they were given the rights to publish it here. Even though it could rightly be called a answer to the prayers of many, opposition still existed, as it always does, because where there is light, darkness is not trailing far behind.
Luckily over the years the darkness has failed time and time again to attempt to manipulate our "God Given Laws" and destroy our country from with in. But as time has passed those who had sworn to preserve and defend those laws had seen something in the darkness that caught their attention. Maybe it was financial gain, power or prestige. Whatever it was, the moment they had broken their oath; Was the moment they decided to fight against truth and the moment they decided to fight against truth; was the moment they were, whether they knew it or not, pushing for the Father Of All Lies to sign "adoption papers."
In the world of government today the words of George Washington should be framed and hanging on every office wall of every politician in the United States. "I hope I shall possess with firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of a honest man." A leader should not be judged according to what he or she looks like on TV or a magazine cover. A leader should be judged according to their integrity, principles and the content of their character. When we allow the lies to pile up by the dump truck full and don't hold our elected officials accountable, we are only aiding in the process of turning the America where anything is possible, into the America that's full of fossils.
Some people call us right wing extremists. So as a good friend of mine said, "Too Extreme" in our age, means Too Much Truth. If they cannot handle the truth, then we cannot help them." If you think for one minute that we can stretch the truth, you are only lying to yourself. Because the truth in our nation is at a crucial point in it's rich history. A battle is being fought between those who wish to maintain principles who are responsible enough to abide by the rule of law and those who wish to toss principles out the window and attempt to govern themselves with no foundation in the name of "Progress."
They honestly believe they can build a paradise on earth and are willing to sacrifice whatever they have to get there. It's all in the name of feeling comfortable in their own skins, never being offended and never feeling as if someone "heaven forbid" would impose responsibility upon their shoulders.
The way to really win the future is not going to come from technological advancement or new fancy legislation that is put forth in the name of "Progress." The way to win the future is to start at home, by teaching children principles and helping them realize that they must trust in God, in order to truly secure the blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
So if you are older then 24 I thank you for helping to preserve our freedom and ask you to continue to do so and if you are younger then 24 and you are not involved, I am asking you to join me in the fight. God willing, we will restore what was lost and be some of this country's "Refounders"
