Save the Date: Tax Day Tea Parties to be held in Nevada!
Please join Americans for Prosperity-Nevada for a Tax Day Tea Party Rally! Let’s show Governor Sandoval we support his “No New Taxes” pledge and our legislators we haven’t gone anywhere! We have two events: one in Carson City, and one in Las Vegas.
If your in Carson City:
Where: Room 3100 of the Legislature Building & in front of the Legislature Building
When: 9:00 a.m. - Orientation and coaching on citizen lobbying
10:00 a.m. - Tour of the Legislature (if you've already had a the tour, then you can start your lobbying early)
11:00 a.m. - Legislative Floor Session
Noon - Boxed Lunch - and possibly some legislators will stop by to see us
1:00 p.m. - Citizen lobbying of the legislature on SPECIFIC LEGISLATION
4-6 pm - It's time to rally outside the Capitol and Legislature and celebrate the nation-wide "tea party" movement's second anniversary.
