Obama Real ID is 90 Days Away Big Brother has officially arrived in the United States of America. The Real ID Act of 2005 (Public Law 109-13, 119 Stat 392) will go into effect on May 11, 2011, requiring the federalization of State-issued driver's licenses. The REAL ID card is the type of card the Nazis and the communists in the Soviet Union made people carry. Driver's licenses have always been under the jurisdiction of the States, but the REAL ID Act gives the federal government control over every State Department of Motor Vehicles, and requires that States implement these national ID cards based on strict federal guidelines. NJ's Chris Christie to take Washington? He thinks so. Chris Christie said he knows he could win the White House if he ran for president next year. The New Jersey governor and GOP rock star made the comments to the National Review last week while he was in Washington D.C., which was published Tuesday night. "I have people calling me and saying to me, 'Let me explain to you how you could win.' And I’m like, 'You’re barking up the wrong tree. I already know I could win.' That's not the issue." Read More

Ohio Union Bill Vote Scheduled Today A Republican-controlled Ohio Senate committee has approved controversial Senate Bill 5, a proposal sharply restricting collective bargaining rights for unionized state and local workers. The Insurance, Commerce and Labor Committee approved the bill by the narrowest margin possible, a 7-5 vote, with Columbus Republican Sen. Jim Hughes voting with the four Democrats against the measure. Read More
