UTAH - MAKE A DECISION - FREEDOM OR LIBERALISM!

Submitted by: Debbie Warren

Where the hell are the Conservative leaders?  We need more Scott Walkers in our world. How in the name of God is a Senator allowed to hold positions in America at the same time they hold offices in another country?  I'm ignorant on this so I'm going to ask where Issa is on this?  Which agency, committee has the duty to act upon something like this?  Anyone who does not see this problem with Robles as a Homeland Security issue and a violation of the requirements to hold such a vital position in our government is in deep denial or corrupt.

This demonstrates 'why' all these scumbags don't step up.  Too many of them are breaking laws or have done so previously  It's no different than a street gang that takes over turf and then blackmails and threatens any one who puts their power at risk.  They all seem to have something on one another.  Look at Rangel, Frank, Pelosi, Maxine Waters...in your face violations of trust and wholesale criminality and theft and they walk while a guy who steals a car or a TV faces far greater accountability, cost and punishment for his crime.
And what the HELL is wrong with Utah?  They will have their own 'little' Mexico from this legislation and a stinking mess for a state in no time.  What part of NO jobs for Illegal Aliens and NO immigration until our citizens are employed and back to the business of contributing to our economy?  It is exhausting to fight our legislators and other Fiduciaries, foreign invaders and illegal aliens and now this wholesale thuggery of greedy public sector teachers/garbage collectors/  who operate like street gang members with an attitude that they deserve more than their fellow private sector citizens; and see no real accountability being brought to bear upon any of them.  Conversely, the average real citizen is being assaulted, threatened, ruined, violated and intimidated on a daily basis and if they are unable to pay taxes (tribute to the trolls) because of the destruction wrought by all of this corruption; they are the only ones facing prosecution and seizure of whatever they have left.

All rhetorical questions...just a rant.  We all know what is going on and why.  I just wish more people would face it.

RED ALERT!  Utah House Passed Amnesty Bill Yesterday!
(HB 116 sponsored by Rep. Bill Wright.)
This nullifies illegal immigration enforcement in Utah and opens the way to grant amnesty to all those who are working here illegally. The bill has been put on hold for 24 hours to possibly debate it again.
JOIN US AT THE CAPITOL!!
If you can join us today, Thursday, Feb. 24th, please come anytime between 8AM- 2PM, and stay as long as you can. Check in with the 9/12 table in the cafeteria of the Senate Office Building (the building just to the northeast of the Capitol) and we will help you get in touch with your Representative or Senator. We are located on the south end of the cafeteria against the East wall.
CALL & EMAIL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES
Ask them not to support any guest worker programs which give amnesty to those here illegally! House Bill 116 needs to be recalled and voted down on THURSDAY or it will pass onto the Senate and, most likely, become Utah State law. This bill would allow immigrants to work here, by permission of the state, on the condition of receiving a federal waiver.
Call/Email these Reps and ask them to CHANGE their vote on Utah HB 116.  Urge them to please vote only for guest worker programs for those who:
1 - have not overstayed their visas, or
2 - have not already come illegally!

WHY IT MATTERS
The melting pot is endangered
Immigration into the United States is a broken process.  The federal government has assumed the power to regulate immigration, but refuses to make it easier for people to come here legally.  We are a nation of immigrants and traditionally we’ve taken pride in being a melting pot.  Now, however, our immigration practices actually discourage the diversity of immigrants from around the globe, while unfairly favoring illegal entry across our southern border.  Many come only for jobs, with no desire to become part of this country.
What Can States Do?
As Utah lawmakers are trying for solutions, most agree that there is not much the federal government will allow the state to do to lessen the impact of illegal immigrants.  States have been waiting for many years for the feds to both enforce immigration law, and also lessen the cost and waiting period for legal entry.
The only real choice a state has on immigration is whether it wants to take a tougher stance, or be more open and inviting to illegal immigrants.  Some states have gained a reputation for being tougher on immigration, while others have become “sanctuary states” which help protect illegal immigrants from deportation through the federal ICE agency.
Potential Consequences to Utah
If Utah became the first state to allow illegals to work, we could immediately become a magnet to draw illegal workers from across the nation to this state.  This opportunity will bring more from across the border as well.  The jobs available are mainly low-paying ones. Just as we’ve seen in California, schools and hospitals will bear the cost. Illegal aliens are not eligible for welfare, but children born here will be, and their parents may apply for benefits for them. If included in the state or federal tax systems, the vast majority of the illegal immigrants will not, as claimed, be paying taxes, but rather they will be in the lower income brackets - which pay no tax!  Bottom line = the overall cost to our society outweighs the benefit of “cheap labor”.

The Compassion Trap
Where is the compassion for all those around the world who are desperate to come to this country but are unwilling to break the law to do it? Do we determine who comes here by their willingness to disobey the law? In trying to show compassion to some, we are discriminating against others who are willing to honor our laws.
