STOP THE OBAMA DESTRUCTION OF FREEDOM!

I need your help today -- right now, in fact -- to stop the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from falling into the hands of the most extreme union boss puppets in HISTORY.

President Obama has just nominated Lafe Solomon, a lifelong lackey for Organized Labor, to the most powerful labor law position in the ENTIRE federal government -- General Counsel to the NLRB.

If confirmed, Solomon could be the KEY to imposing “Card Check” -- the union bosses’ scheme to eliminate the secret ballot in union elections -- BY REGULATORY FIAT!

Now, don’t get me wrong.  Since its creation under FDR, the NLRB has always been a nest of pro-forced-unionism bureaucrats.

But especially with Lafe Solomon added to the mix, this new crowd of Obama radicals make previous NLRBs look tame

There’s no time to waste.   The Senate confirmation vote could come up any day now.

And the truth is, Solomon’s nomination is just further proof Big Labor’s allies are still trying to ram forced unionism down the throats of the American people -- by ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

You and I stopped their power grabs in Congress by the skin of our teeth last year.

Then the American people rose up and tossed out of office dozens of Congressmen and Senators who had voted for Obama’s forced-dues agenda.

So now, Big Labor is trying a trick play to grab these same powers by NLRB regulation.

That’s why President Obama’s nomination for NLRB General Counsel is so important -- and so dangerous.

You see, the Supreme Court has held that the NLRB General Counsel has “unreviewable discretion” on which cases to allow the full NLRB to even consider -- and which ones to suffocate.

And there’s no question whose pocket Solomon will be in if confirmed as the NLRB’s General Counsel.

In the past, Solomon has advocated giving militant union organizers access to private company property -- even the names and home addresses of workers.

Now, with the Obama proxies on the Board already primed to effectively IMPOSE “Card Check,” all Big Labor is waiting for is a General Counsel to “set the stage.”

The truth is, even before you and I defied the odds and beat back Big Labor’s power grabs in the last session of Congress, the union bosses have had this NLRB “Card Check” scheme up their sleeves.

Today, especially after the results of the 2010 elections, Big Labor believes it’s “now or never.”

This would be nothing short of a DISASTER.

You see, should the NLRB STRIP workers of the right to a secret ballot in union elections, union thugs would be able to intimidate workers one-on-one -- or three-on-one -- into signing so-called “union authorization cards.”

With well over 90,000 recorded instances of union violence just since 1975, you and I both know union officials will stop at nothing to get a signature.

In short, Big Labor’s radical “Card Check” power grab would:

***   Force millions of additional working Americans to pay union dues under the threat of losing their jobs, filling Big Labor’s coffers with hundreds of millions of forced-dues dollars;

***   Dramatically increase the wasteful work rules, hate-the-boss propaganda, slowdowns and bitter strikes that shut down businesses and destroy jobs, ensuring that even more plants are closed and more jobs are shipped overseas or lost forever;

***   Enable Big Labor to pump even more campaign cash into the coffers of its radical, tax-and-spend politicians like Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi who, in turn, will look for even greater ways to increase the union bosses’ forced-dues power.

I don’t know about you, but I can barely stand to think of the economic CARNAGE that could result should Big Labor succeed at IMPOSING “Card Check” through the NLRB.

Especially now.

Especially with all the bankruptcies, lost jobs and near double-digit unemployment already plaguing our country.

The truth is, “Card Check” could send our fragile economy nose-diving off a cliff!

Worse, before it’s all said and done, I’m afraid “Card Check” may prove to be just the tip of the iceberg.

Once “Card Check” is IMPOSED, you and I both know the NLRB will do whatever it can to “grease the skids” to FORCE more workers under union boss control.

In fact, increased penalties for opposing forced unionism and subjecting workers to quick-snap ambush elections could all be in the works.

That’s why you and I MUST do everything we can to DEFEAT Lafe Solomon’s nomination to the NLRB and send the President another strong message against expanding forced unionism.
