OBAMA'S ILL THOUGHT OUT TAXES AND HARRY REID'S FOOLISHNESS

Listing Obama’s Taxes …
Since taking office, President Barack Obama has signed into law twenty-one new or higher taxes: 1. A 156 percent increase in the federal excise tax on tobacco: On February 4, 2009, just sixteen days into his Administration, Obama signed into law a 156 percent increase in the federal excise tax on tobacco, a hike of 61 cents per pack. The median income of smokers is just over $36,000 per year. 2. Obamacare Individual Mandate Excise Tax (takes effect in Jan 2014): Starting in 2014, anyone not buying “qualifying” health insurance must pay an income surtax according to the higher of the following ...

NEW YORK CITY'S MAYOR LAMEBRAIN FOULS UP 9/11 COMMEMORATION CEREMONY WITH BONEHEADED ACTIONS!

American Conservative,

Putting your life on the line is not enough to get you an invitation to the 9/11 ten-year memorial! That is the attitude of the Mayor of New York.

This has created an outrage among firefighters, policemen and other "first responders" from New York City!

And you should be outraged also. You watched 9/11 that day; and saw the firefighters going in and going up---and many never came back down alive! Everyone knows the ultimate sacrifices that were made that day. Yet, ten years later, their brothers and fellow-workers are banned from the anniversary celebration. They have been totally SNUBBED!

WHO CAN ARREST HOLDER?

At ATF, 200 Murders Earns Transfers to DC
Until Obama is no longer President, it is a no-brainer that Attorney General Holder, who has been complicit in this whole Fast and Furious debacle, will not order his own arrest. However, the House of Representatives could appoint an independent counsel and put him in the Office of the Sergeant at Arms, who heads up the Capitol Hill Police Force.....

THANK GOD FOR THE TEA PARTY!

When Liberals are the Oppressors
Liberal ideas were developed in the good old days when landowners, slave owners, and business owners were the bad guys. So liberals developed the notions of protest, civil disobedience, and passive resistance as the means by which the oppressed, assisted by their educated allies, could register their protest against injustice, expose the hypocrisies of the powerful, and win through to a just society. But now a new justice movement has emerged onto the political radar. Only this time it is not a liberal movement, enthusiastically supported by our liberal friends. Instead this movement, the Tea Party movement, is anti-liberal. It has arisen to oppose the injustices of liberalism.Read More

MORE AND MORE REASONS TO FIRE HOLDER! OBAMA TOO!!!

More Crime tied to failed Fast and Furious program
In the second violent crime in this country connected with the ATF’s failed Fast and Furious program, two Arizona undercover police officers were allegedly assaulted last year when they attempted to stop two men in a stolen vehicle with two of the program’s weapons in a confrontation south of Phoenix. The officers, members of an elite Arizona Department of Public Safety law enforcement unit, said the driver rammed their cars and threatened them with the firearms, and then fled into the Arizona desert. The driver was caught and arrested, and two firearms –- a Beretta pistol and AK-47 semiautomatic assault rifle — were found in the stolen Ford truck, the police said.Read More

Obama, few GOP want a $447 billion package
In a last-gasp attempt to jolt the economy and his reelection prospects, President Barack Obama on Thursday put forward a $447 billion jobs package, challenging Congress to shut down the “political circus” and pass his bill as soon as possible. After three weeks of buildup, Obama delivered the speech amid high stakes, potentially one of his last major opportunities to wrest the economic debate back from Republicans and reenergize the economy after months of sputtering growth. But expectations that the entirety of his plan would prove palatable to the Republican-controlled House remained low.

Confusion is the Plan

The ‘Nevada Plan' fosters confusion about per-pupil spending

By Geoffrey Lawrence
How much do Nevada taxpayers spend to educate every child in the state's K-12 education system?
The question is straightforward and objective. Yet the answers to it vary greatly, depending upon the speaker.
School administrators, politicians, union bosses and federal and state bureaucrats all answer this question differently — while looking at the same figures. All of their answers also differ from what might be expected from a private-sector accountant or entrepreneur.
The chief culprit in this confusion is the complexity of the Silver State's school finance mechanism. The "Nevada Plan," as it's called, requires state lawmakers to determine what will be the "basic support per pupil" amount that will be guaranteed to school districts each year. This "basic support per pupil" amount — which will rise to $5,263 in the 2011-12 school year — is often cited by tax-increase advocates who complain that Silver State schools are drastically underfunded compared to other states.
"Basic support," however, should not be confused with "total support."

DHS SECRETARY CONTINUES TO DENT FACTS...MAYBE SHE IS OVER HER HEAD LIKE HOLDER AND GEITHNER

NAPOLITANO DEFENDS DHS AFTER GOP DEBATE

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano took many issues with the GOP presidential candidates following remarks and criticisms they made during last night’s political debate.  Napolitano particularly took issue with Texas Governor Rick Perry’s assertion that when President Obama says the border is safer than it’s ever been, “either he has some of the poorest intel of a president in the history of this country, or he was an abject liar to the American people.” Secretary Napolitano suggests talking with some of the border mayors for their take on the matter.
