SERMON - CHRISTIANS WILL HAVE NO SHAME

Christians Will Have No

Shame

 

 

As people all around our nation concern themselves with the failing economy those of us who are TRUE Christians have no shame to worry about. We have done nothing to cause outrage in heaven and can look one another squarely in the eye and confidently know we are not to blame.

 

Psalm 37: ¹⁸ The days of the blameless are known to the LORD, and their inheritance will endure forever.  ¹⁹ In times of disaster they will not wither;   in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

 

In Psalm 37 we learn that that the Lord rises up to action against societies whose sins have outraged heaven. The prophesies set forth in this Psalm convey promises to God’s children as well as His anger at those who refuse to obey His will. There is hope for all who fully trust in the Lord and none for those that are filled with greed, covetousness and wicked fraud that evil men perpetrate on the poor and needy.
