December 7: Then And Now – Rearmament Versus Moral Disarmament December 6, 2013 By Don Feder        This will not be your typical Pearl Harbor Day commentary from a conservative – eternal vigilance as the price of liberty, Munich, look where appeasement gets you and all of that.        What's really remarkable about December 7, 1941 isn't that we got sucker-punched by the Empire of Japan but how rapidly we recovered and why.        Coming out of the worst depression in our history (in 1940, unemployment was still 17%), we fought a global war on two fronts, against the world's strongest military powers (fueled by fanaticism and plotting war for almost a decade) and won, becoming the dominant power on the planet in the process. And we did it all in three years and eight month after Pearl Harbor.

Best Specialists Too “Expensive for ObamaCare”—Only Average Doctors Left in System  by Stephen Frank on 12/04/2013            How does a health plan save money?  By axing the most expensive doctors in its system, leaving those average doctor.  You save money by cutting so many doctors and hospitals that the sick and elderly have to travel 40-50 miles for an appointment or to get to a hospital.  You save money by making it difficult for a patient to see a qualified specialist, or those that have treated them in the past with great results.          This is a callous effort, in conjunction with the death panels to save money by refusing to save people.  England saves money by killing off 120,000 people per year in their facilities.  Folks are sick, go to a hospital and are NOT given food or water, if deemed “too sick”—oh and the family is not told this is happening.  Obama on the other hand will get fantastic health care for he and his family for the rest of his life—at your expense—and no death panels for Michelle.          Oh, sign up for an Obamacare plan, if you are lucky your doctor will be apart of it—but NOT for long.          “UnitedHealthcare has begun telling members about the network changes. But there is now less than two weeks before the Dec. 7 deadline for choosing new coverage next year. Timing is crucial since once they sign up, most Advantage beneficiaries are locked into their plans for the year.  Losing a doctor does not constitute an exception to the rule. Insurers can drop providers any time with 30 days advance notice to members.”   LINK

The President is either high or ignorant, though perhaps we should embrace the healing power of “and.” He posits that if the nation raises the minimum wage, there will be an economic boom.

Only in leftwing fantasy land and Das Kapital does such a concept even come close to being credible. What’s worse, via his twitter account his minion tweeted out an info graphic making the case. One can only assume this is why he does not want poor children in Louisiana to get a better education. If they did, they’d quickly realize the President is full of . . . choom maybe?

Two days ago, testimonies were given on Capitol Hill that should raise every American citizen’s concerns about recent flagrant abuses of presidential power.  

 

Michael Turley, a Georgetown University Law Professor, issued this warning… “The danger is quite severe. The problem with what the president is doing is that he's not simply posing a danger to the constitutional system – he’s becoming the very danger the Constitution was designed to avoid.”

 

Equally concerning is the fact that Congress isn’t stopping him because his leftist sycophants in the Senate actually like what he’s doing!  

 

Our constitutional system of checks and balances is being subverted by the Executive Branch to the point of being completely ineffectual.  Please see my urgent update below – Mat.
