JUDGE REFUSES TO BLOCK ALABAMA IMMIGRATION LAW
Despite Obama’s pleas, a federal judge has again refused to halt Alabama’s tough anti-illegal immigration law prompting some Hispanics to leave the state. On September 28, District Judge Sharon Lovelace Blackburn backed the law allowing police to detain people suspected of being in the country illegal if they cannot produce proper documentation when stopped for any other reason. The judge also upheld a provision that permits the state to require schools to determine the legal residency of children. The law in its first week is already having an effect as seven percent of Hispanic students enrolled in public schools have been absent as their parents pack up and leave the state.A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER
RUBIO ADOPTS TOUGHER STANCE ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
On Tuesday, Florida Senator Marco Rubio retreated from his past support for tuition breaks for the children of illegal immigrants that he supported as a state lawmaker saying, “We are a nation of laws. If you’re here in violation of the laws, you shouldn’t benefit from these programs.”His remarks resemble the position taken by presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who as governor ofMassachusetts vetoed tuition assistance for the children of illegal immigrations. Rubio, considered a rising star in the GOP, has said that he would turn down any offers of vice presidency though his reformed stance on tuition breaks hints that he is carefully positioning himself.

The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has convened for its 2011/12 term, and one case before the court will determine whether the central government can nationalize another one-sixth of the American economy. Call itThe American people v. ObamaCare.
For the record, that would be one-sixth of what remains of free enterprise after all the nationalization already undertaken by Barack Hussein Obama, ostensibly to "save the economy." If Obama and his socialist cadres continue to undermine free enterprise at the current pace, his goal of "fundamentally transforming the United States of America" into a socialist democracy will be assured, regardless of the victors in the next election cycle.
