This Wednesday I had the opportunity to meet with two different families from the Step Up for Students program to discuss school choice scholarships and how I can best advocate for school choice in the legislature. School choice is an issue I care deeply about and hearing their personal experience was greatly beneficial in better understanding the impact school choice has on our community.
Thursday, I was able to take a tour of Whispering Winds Charter School as well as touring the Levy County Supervisor of Elections office.
Friday, I attended the 4th Annual Hometown Heroes Breakfast, organized by Leena Williams of Hiers-Baxley Community Cares and Summer Gill of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). A great breakfast and an even greater cause!
As always, we want to hear from you. If you have an issue or suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Have a great weekend!
Joe
