The First take: "Confront?" We take exception with the headline here. If the president were going to confront the Russian leader, we would have preferred he not have rolled over on the Nord Stream II pipeline a few weeks ago.
The First take: With a mass shooter still at large, the police could have used the help of the media to describe the person they were seeking. The Austin American Statesman choose to withhold the accurate physical description of the suspect... because, "wokeness." (Also, see: insanity)
The First take: We're so old we remember when Americans used to say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Chanukah" to each other. The NJ school district's effort to avoid offending a tiny group of people makes as much sense to us as the Biden admin calling mothers "birthing persons."
The First take: We never want to jump on the conspiracy train, so we won't. But there are so many things about this story besides the Clinton connection that have us questioning why a successful, 45-yr-old man with a family would take his own life. We understand this is being investigated.
