Biden's policy announcement came with a bold stance against violence and discrimination. Chuck Schumer, who is presumed to lead the soon to be Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate, was corned by reporters about Biden's stance. He quickly responded, "I agree." Sadly, the political class in D.C. misses the point (again). This is not about discrimination or violence (which we all rebuke), but rather about children's safety and comfort in schools and their parents.
