SPITBALLING ON DECEMBER 31, 2020
Today is New Year’s day I don’t think I could be happier to welcome 2021 in and kick 2020 to the curb.
So on this wonderful day in which the Good Lord has enabled me to once again fill my lungs with oxygen, I wanted to share some random thoughts that I believe are not worth remembering, but I pray you never forget. Here they are:
1. I’m wondering why it is that the media and democrats continue to blame anything that goes wrong in the world on President Trump, even as he is getting ready to leave office (theoretically)?
2. Isn’t it fascinating how the people we look to for leadership like Governors Andrew Cuomo of New York, Gavin Newsome of California, Nancy Pelosi, Bill de Blasio, Diane Feinstein, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, and the ever-present Maxine Water, and others who pontificate to us about not traveling during the holidays, not participating in gatherings of friends and relatives, keeping our distance from others, wearing masks (which do not work), not going to sporting events and stay at home because of the Chinese Virus, and then they do exactly what they tell us not to do. Did these so-called leaders miss the class about leading by example? Are they all protégés of the Global Elite Club and its “Rules for thee, but not for me?”
3. I find it very interesting that anytime a breaking news story hits that appears negative for a democrat, the immediate response is that it must be Russia. Regarding Russia, it is important to remember that by my calculations, and, indeed, what has been reported in the mainstream media, Russia donated exactly $0.00 to Donald Trump’s campaign for President. On the other hand, Russia donated $145,600,000 to the Clinton Foundation and paid former President Bill Clinton $500,000 for a speech in Moscow. But President Trump is the one who was investigated and spied upon by his own country. Funny how that happens?
4. Here is a little tidbit of knowledge of which you were probably not aware. President Trump’s Border Wall costs less than the Obamacare Website… which didn’t work. How is it we never hear about that in the so-called free press?
5. They sent more troops and weapons to arrest Roger Stone, who was accused of a process crime than they did to come to the aid of those defending Benghazi. I’m still waiting for an explanation for that one. And, I will never forget it or the lies told to the American people by then-President Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and several others. Benghazi remains a stain on American honor and We The People have not been told the true story. But, one day we shall.
6. Barring a miracle, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are about to ascend to the Office of President and Vice President of the United States. They will do so largely by fraudulent means. This is my own personal opinion but Mr. Biden is a chronic and habitual liar and he and his family are crooks. He also has very little business experience and no track record of accomplishment to claim his own for his forty -seven years in government. He is devoid of any leadership qualities and his physical fitness is suspect because of his two brain bleeds on either side of his head in 1988. Ms. Harris is little more than a high priced hooker with zero practical business or management experience and a predisposition to socialism and, indeed, communism. Both are puppets of the Global Elite and in the case of Mr. Biden, he sold his soul and our nation to China. Consequently, we are headed for some difficult times in the months and years ahead. Stay vigilant. 7. The year 2020 taught me a great deal about politics. It actually forced me to delve into history to determine the origin of the word itself. Let me tell you what I learned about the derivation of the word “politics” The word has its origins from the Greek word “poly” meaning “many” and “tics” meaning “blood-sucking parasites.” Sort of clears things up doesn’t it? Tuck that one away for the next coffee table discussion. Also, hark unto Mark Twain who said. “Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reasons,” and “There is no distinctly American criminal class except Congress,” and “Fleas can be taught nearly anything that a Congressman can.”
8. Get ready for the assault on our Southern Border Chapter II. Biden’s idea of controlling illegal immigration is to open the borders up, allow them in, and give them a quick pathway to citizenship…and, by the way, provide them free benefits such as free health care, housing, food, and cash payments. Have you ever asked yourself who pays for all of this? The answer, my friend, is you! You pay for it with your taxes! Here is a fundamental basic economic lesson: our government cannot give to one group anything which they do not take from another group. Government has a finite number of tax dollars to spend. And if there is not enough money to spend, the government can take one of two actions: take the funds from some other group of Americans or borrow more money from the Federal Reserve adding to the National Debt…our debt. Of course, when you print more money, it devalues the purchasing power of the money we all have and weakens our economy.
And, here are some other thoughts to ponder: Do you really believe caravans of 3,000 people form “spontaneously” in countries like Ecuador, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Mexico seeking to come to America? Also, how do you walk 3,000 miles across Mexico in “spontaneous caravans” with no food or support, and arrive at our borders overweight and with cellphones?
Finally, when my parents and grandparents came here from Italy, there were no subsidies, no free health care, no paid for housing and benefits. They used their hands and skills to make a living and worked to become proud citizens. And they served our nation in two World Wars and Korea.
9. We could feed and shelter all of America’s homeless and provide much-needed support for businesses who were forced to close their doors due to the Chinese Virus with the billions of dollars of pork and outright grants to foreign nations contained in the so-called “Stimulus Bill”. How is it this was never called out in the media? Imagine if President Trump put forth a Bill like the democrats did? Why do we need to send billions of dollars to foreign nations, money we don’t have, while our Veterans are homeless and living on the streets? And why give money to countries that despise us? I am an intelligent, well-educated man, but I can’t figure that one out.
10. Fathom the hypocrisy of James Comey, the disgraced FBI Director who exclaimed “I don’t know” and “I don’t recall” and “I don’t remember” 236 times when testifying under oath…but remembered enough to write a book.
11. Fathom the hypocrisy of Maxine Waters who vehemently opposes voter ID laws because she says, they are “racist”. But, if you want to attend one of her town hall meetings you need to have a photo ID to get in.
12. Fathom the hypocrisy of liberal democrats like Beto O’Rourke, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Corey Booker, Tim Ryan, Bill DeBlasio, and Joe Biden who demand that all guns be banned and confiscated by the government as if this will curtail violent crime, yet at the same time, these very same people applaud late-term abortions which involve the brutal despicable slaughter of infants in the womb, often crushing their heads and extracting their limbs one by one. I am at a loss to explain the logic of this one.
13. Fathom the disrespect of Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, who invited illegal aliens to the State of the Union Address. President Trump on the other hand invited victims of illegal aliens.
14.Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Corey Booker all want to ban cars, busses, trucks, and planes; give away $1,000 for all infants at birth; provide for a $15 minimum wage whether you work or not and adopt socialism to replace capitalism as our economic system. Capitalism latter has proven to be the greatest source of wealth and prosperity in the history of the world while socialism has never worked in any nation where it has been tried and has led to millions of deaths in its wake. It seems to me that if we concentrated on teaching our children more about factual rather than revisionist history we would be better off and less inclined to listen to radicals.
15. The inscription on the ceiling of the Rotunda of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Virginia reads “I have sworn before the altar of God Eternal hostility against any form of tyranny over the mind of man”. Jefferson was a champion of education and is widely regarded as perhaps the most brilliant man ever to occupy the White House. He also studied the religions of the world, spoke Greek and Latin, and understood clearly that we owe thanks to God for His Providence. Haven’t we taken the political correctness nonsense a bit too far? Isn’t it time we brought God back into our lives, our work, our families, and in our classrooms? And isn’t it time we taught our children about the cherished history of our nation instead of fabricated incendiary stories like those contained in the “1619 Project.”?
16.Every once in a while I pick up my copy of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. I find it utterly amazing just how close the actions of Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton parallel those espoused by Alinsky in their efforts to “transform America”. It was like they were following his blueprint for the destruction of our Nation. I also think about Obama’s message to America in 2009: “Change you can believe in!” I think what he really meant to say was “we will change what you believe in”. Just my opinion. What do you think?
17. Think about this: California, New York, and New Jersey have the toughest Covid Executive Decrees by their respective Governors in shutting down businesses and stay-at-home orders. They also have the greatest number of hospitalizations and deaths from the virus. Florida has no such executive orders and is fully open. People are working, students are in school and their economy is thriving! Could it be that the strong-armed tactics really do not work? Maybe it is time to reopen the country and stop living in fear of a virus with a 99.6% survival rate! The great football coach Lou Holtz said regarding Covid…“Don’t keep me alive by preventing me from living”. Pure wisdom. With this in mind, I am heading off to Mass today with my wife of 50 years. I no longer will adhere to the directives of my governor to stay home because such directives are not laws and are also unconstitutional…as are the orders to close down businesses. They are also downright wrong!
Just a few thoughts for the day. Enjoy your lives in 2021. Approach the New Year with resolve and determination to live life to the fullest. I know I will.
