Conservatives,
Your religious liberties have been under constant attack for months.
As I’m sure you’re aware, Gov. Gavin Newsom has continued to arbitrarily keep churches and houses of worship in California shut down or subject to excessively burdensome restrictions.
Your religious liberties have been under constant attack for months.
As I’m sure you’re aware, Gov. Gavin Newsom has continued to arbitrarily keep churches and houses of worship in California shut down or subject to excessively burdensome restrictions.
The Center for American Liberty fought back by filing a critical lawsuit to re-open houses of worship and defend your First Amendment rights.
Now, our case has a court date of November 17th in front of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
We intend to make it clear that California and Gov. Newsom are unfairly targeting religious groups.
You see, radical politicians would rather vilify churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, gurdwaras, and other houses of worship—scapegoating them for the spread of COVID-19 – than take any responsibility themselves.
They refuse to acknowledge that the thousands of “peaceful protestors” marching in the street shoulder-to-shoulder without masks are likely the real culprits—that doesn’t fit their agenda.
The houses of worship we represent are taking social distancing seriously and are going to great lengths to protect their congregants’ health—yet they are being shut down.
That's why we’re fighting back, and we’ll need your help and support all the way through Nov. 17!
Our lawsuit is absolutely critical in the fight for religious liberty.
The government cannot give a free pass to thousands of rioters and at the same time massively restrict the rights of law-abiding citizens who are following social distancing protocols.
It’s up to you and me to hold our elected officials accountable and let them know they cannot get away with their repeated abuses of power.
Our Constitution guarantees the freedom of religion and freedom of assembly.
I’ve said it before and will say it again, there is no COVID-19 exception to the United States Constitution.
Radical politicians have shown that they will not give up their so-called “emergency powers” and will use them to strip away our freedoms one at a time.
Together, we can stop the egregious misuse of power and restore our freedom of religion.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Sincerely,
